It is that time of year again.
Sitting here in Southern Coastal California with a temperature of 50F and a dry Santa Ana sucking the heat out of everything,
My thoughts go to those members

no not those members,
EA members experiencing "blizzard" season again.
Does our Federal Weather news lie or did some of the northwest EA membership experience the first blizzard of the season.
A storm now heading to the Atlantic Coast and several EA members along the way.
Can you guys still get online though the blizzard? Got e'tricity? Running water? Flushing toilets

yet?
Please share your blizzardness.
It is nice. As long as one is not driving. I remember freezing rain hitting the windshield. What joy.

We have about 2" of snow in the yard.
High winds, and a mystery BOOM a few hours ago.
I was unable to figure out what it was, teh but the neighbors heard it, too.
The dog is freaked out by the winds as well.

Possibly one of two things:
1. A transformer blowing. Quite common during any high-wind event.
2. Thunder. Yes, thundersnow does exist, and this is quite a strong storm, so it's technically possible.

Rained a lot over the past few days and last night was supposed to have snow.
I haven't looked out the windows yet because I slept late and decided to read the computer this morning.

Hi moi and friends...,
Had 'lectricity continuously except from 3 PM until after 7 PM because some inebriate hit and broke a utility pole in half down the street.
Why is it that people forget how to drive on ice through the summer and have to learn all over again each Winter. Of course, I realize that the EtOH does not help...

We're up to about 2 inches of snow here in Cleveland, and it's still coming down pretty continuously. They've got an additional 4" or so being forecast by the end of tonight, so we'll see how bad it gets. But then again, what am I saying? This is Cleveland... we're used to it. To us, this is just a dusting. Power's still on to the entire city, cars are buzzing around outside as if nothing at all is different, and most people are just saying "It's about time!"
