Cat mystery illness solved.
My cat gave birth to at least three kittens, all dead. If there are other kittens alive, I haven't found them yet.
I will keep looking, however.

I searched the middle closet and found no more kittens. My :kittygray is looking healthier now and comes out of the closet day and night for fresh water and kitty chow.
As to how she was knocked up since I don't let her outside, I might have figured out an answer. There's an old saying, "nature will find a way."
There is, of course, another possibility, though I tend to ignore it since I'm not very religious. It occurred to me that a miracle might have happened in the form of "Immaculate Catception"

I checked for sheep signs as soon as I saw your idea.
Alas, there were no hoof prints in the cheesecake

Would you believe I have lived 64 years without ever tasting cheesecake. Tis true.
So far I haven't had any sleep. The TimeWarner guy is coming between 1:00pm and 3:00pm to hopefully fix my phone. I've been without a phone now for two weeks.
You might say I'm excited about the possibility of having a phone again, especially as I need to make an appointment with my Doc so I can get my medications renewed.

Hooray, it's 2:10pm and I finally have a working telephone.
Now, I can finally get some sleep.
