'P' it was in the mid 80's again today, it was so hot in the house I spent the day outside. Shorts, t-shirt and sandals.
Come and live in Hawai'i, never be cold again. On the other hand, I know people who put on sweatshirts when it gets down to 75, not me of course, I love it when its 75.
River
PS, I don't miss the fact that when I left last winter it was -20 with a -40 wind chill, I don't miss it one bit.

I would miss Jacket / Sweater weather. Don't you? At all?
Well I guess you could just move up the mountain to your comfort zone. Si? Any Mexy presence? Taco Sunday at the Church?
Somehow, my ground got sucked dry. I did a double watering on all my sprinkler valves.
It hasn't been hot or windy. My guess is the biological activity of our Spring suck water.
The Brown and Sweet Onions, Sweet Shelling Peas and Potatoes are doing dynamite.
Loquats are ripening while other areas of the garden still sleep.
My reservoirs fill while we remain sans rain here for a few weeks.

PS "P" I do believe you have an invite to Hawai'i.
Chose to be cold.

You can find every climate zone here on the big island, except extreme hot and cold. There are places where you not only insulate your home but need a fire place to keep you warm and toasty. Down at the ocean where I live its shorts and t-shirt weather every day and no I don't get tired of it and I don't miss the cold. You can even go to the stores in winter and pick up all your winter clothing, parkas, gloves, snow hats and everything even. If that is what you want, you can find it here on the big island, it has it all.

6" of snow.
I am not impressed.
I also don't shovel. That's why I have a 4wd truck.

The two boys next door came over to help when they saw me exercising the 4wd. Cleaned the concrete apron off in front of the garage, and that was it. The rest I can drive through. I'm not shoveling my way to a heart attack!
Sun came out, melted the roads off. Should be fun tonight when it refreezes.

yesterday is started to rain, it rained all night and most of the day, we loved it. The catchment tank is back to full, the dead grass is green again, the trees around the yard that have looked so wilted are happy again. It was cool too down about 75 or so
and shirt. I was very happy today, finally the right temp.
Life is good,

Same Same.
Like living in the San Francisco Fog Zone.
Gray. Gray. 10% chance of rain they call it.
That chance is gonna peak for Oscars. Yea!
The sweet shelling peas are loving it.
The front yard peach tree is beginning to break bud and the Apricot has over 20.
Sweet and Brown onions growing well while the loquats ripen slowly and are not sweet.

It rained all night, we are loving it. Nelly went out this morning and rolled in the wet grass, I think she misses the rain too as I had to dry her off when I let her back in.

The distant mountains are covered with snow.
The ski people must be happy.
The highest peak locally is sometimes "dusted" as a foothill but, not this storm.
About a third of an inch total H2O for this storm on Moi and his garden.
And it came down over a nice period of time making a real, sod soaker.
Watch for mud slides coming to steep neighborhoods soon.
Remember: Every Silver Lining has a Dark Cloud.
Today the sky is clear and a fresh breeze blows steadily. Sometimes more, sometimes less.
The Garden Grows and some fruit trees show signs of waking up with bark changing from dusky gray to rubric
and buds becoming plumper and more noticeable on a branch.
It is a very wonderful Season. <so far>
Moi
Hey RiverLava,
Do YOU remember "Seasons"?
