On a side note, my grey cat made a getaway outside sometime during the night. The lil bugger pried open a screen. I worried about him all night. However, I'm too tired and sore to go crawling under the house looking for him. He'll show up when he discovers the only cat chow is inside, not under the house.

Hope you find your cat. I know how much you can miss the cat for even a short time. We lost one of ours this spring. Took 10 days for him to get caught again. Think with all the door problems you have I am sure the cat will find a way in again.

Liz made me an offer today. She's willing to move up to Phelan, California, way north of me. If she and Jeanette weren't here, Monty would have no reason to stay. Liz says she needs $400 to get resettled up there but knows I don't have the money.

I guess I'll start buying lottery tickets again. It would be nice to get my house back and get rid of Monty

I wonder if Monty would like living in Wisconsin with River

I am far from where River lives. Across the state. But just the thought of Monty living with in 300 miles scars me to no end.

Send him to the golf and work in the oil cleanup. We know he does not mind being dirty.

I saw my cat this morning in a tree at the side of the house but, he was having fun and declined my invite to come back in. I would have gone up and grabbed him but my monkey days are in the past.

I had posted a reward for my cat. Jeanette collected it today by recapturing my cat and bringing him inside

I gave her a Dr. Pepper and $20.00

True Lurker, but if Jeanette had not been here my cat would still be outside with those other cats who might be carrying Feline Leukemia. Liz still cleans house, does yard and cooks dinner. I'm not physically up to yardwork or daily housecleaning any more.

I made a deal today to get rid all of Monty's junk in my back yard. Liz's son says he'll use a U-haul and haul it away for me for $100. Some of the material to be hauled it away will be the plywood boards Monty uses for his shack.
