LOL Honestly Flo, that thought crossed my mind :)

On the plus side today, it's only 103 F. and tonight it is supposed to drop to 71 degrees. Oh how I look forward to 71 degrees.

On the minus side, it's 103 F.

With all that sun you have to endure in So. California a good magnifying glass may do the trick. Just sayin'.

Monty is cleaning up my driveway today. Imagine that.

Just a typical day here. Monty rebuilt his house last night and this morning I tore it down.

Ah, yes, job security. Eventually he will run out of building materials. --FLO--

At 10:30 this morning a very nice police officer was at my front door. He wanted to know if I wanted Monty gone. I :) and said yes. He asked me if Monty's two dogs were mine and I said no. The officer called animal control and took them away.

Monty was drunk, as usual, so he was taken off to jail for being drunk in public. The officer said he'd only be away 8 hours.

The officer said I need to get eviction papers on Monty and serve him ASAP and only then can the police legally keep him away.

The end is in sight (no I'm not looking in a mirror with my arse towards it)

As I have no printer, yet, Ken_SD is mailing me three copies of the eviction forms :)

Monty returned about 6:30pm but departed almost immediately to parts unknown :)

Big Commotion in the Neighborhood (strangely, Monty wasn't involved) :)

The woman in the back apartment set her son's mirror outside. The woman in the front apartment tried to sell it. Some guy came by and took the mirror without paying for it. Liz was being yelled at because she didn't see who stole it.

Somehow, living here reminds me of life in the crowded, small apartments in Chicago or New York TV situation comedies.

I was up till 3:00am last night due to indigestion. Yes folks, I ate my own cooking. Before turning in, I took a walk in my yard and saw that Monty had returned and built another illegal shack. I was too tired to complain and figured I'd handle it in the morning. I slept in till past 11pm. I walked outside and Monty had torn it down.

If he rebuilds it tonight, I'll tear it down again. I'm not about to be fined for having an illegal structure on my property.
