Then - a storm lovers delight. The barometer dropped near half an inch and the winds were a blowin'. The last time I saw a barometer drop like that there was a tornado across the mini-bay in Costa Mesa.
The really heavy rainfall seems to be stalled at the LA/LB latitude where the radar is red and the weatherman say an inch an hour. After hours and hours of this my cable TV is interrupted for National Weather Service announcements like,
"It is raining hard",
or "Wow are the winds strong".
Thanks National Weather Service and Cable TV, I guess I should take my laundry off the clothesline.
