3 month update. First injections were 20th December. Second set one week after that. Seems to have worked. Swelling has gone. No longer sensitive to pain if hit or squeezed. Reduction in size, about half what was there before and seems to be still reducing. Still taking spironolactone so not sure if it has had an effect on ability to make testosterone. Haven't said anything to Doctors about any of it, still haven't worked out how to bring it up with them without causing a problem. No regrets.

I am in the U.S., but when I went to my urologist, I presented to him that because of a dull pain in my testicles, during a shower I discovered that one testicle was hard and smaller than usual, and thought I should have it checked out. Upon examination of both testicles, he agreed there was reason for concern and further tests, especially since I said I had dull pain, when in fact there was no longer any feeling at all in them.
An ultrasound showed a mass in the right testicle. Because biopsy can cause spread of any cancer, he recommended removal of the right and monitoring of the left, since the left showed abnormal lesions but no mass.
The right testicle was removed and pathology evaluation showed pre-cancerous cells present. I report this to say that after injections follow-up is essential with a doctor. My doctor said he wished more men would not ignore changes in their testicles, as men wait until too late to catch cancer early and prevent any spread of it to other organs, causing need for radiation or chemotherapy.
When my doctor recommended removal of my right testicle, the most difficult was to not exhibit joy over the removal <smile>, or my disappointment over both not being removed at once <frown>.
In my excitement for surgical castration I likely presented to my urologist somewhat soon after my final injection, but better safe and early than sorry. My experience shows even equal injections to both testicles can mean drastically different damage between the two testicles over the same period of time. This shows that not only that we are all different, but within ourself results occur at different time periods.

Hi there, anybody here, who can tell me about his experiences when he went to the urologist first time after his balls shrinked. Experiences from Germany/Europe would be most welcome. Cheers

Mine were also removed one three weeks after first injection and then the second one two more injections and then three years later. Glad both are gone!

Hi nutless2b, thanks for your detailed report. May I additionally ask, how long after your last injection you have waited before you went to your urologist. Did they found out, you did injections? What was you age and what happened to your snd testicle?
Thanks a lot!

I was watching this thread for quite some time... so here comes the time for some questions.

For 50ml of solution (more than enough), I need ~10g of CaCl2 dihydrate.
The issue is - it is impossible to get CaCl2 dihydrate here, so I have started recalculating for CaCl2 anhydrous.
The idea was - get CaCl2 anhydrous, add vodka to compensate for water content in CaCl2 dihydrate, then top up remaining part with Ethanol. (Sterile, deionised water instead of vodka would have been probably better, but I am not sure how to get it and keep it sterile).
So - back to my numbers:
I take 10g of CaCl2 dyhidrate - that is 2 water molecules for each one of CaCl2.
That gives me 7.55g of anhydrous CaCl2 + 2.45g of water. (I am calculating by molar mass - ~18 for water, almost 111 for CaCl2).
vodka is 40% ethanol by volume - so those 2.45g of water are 60% by volume. thankfully - 2.45g = 2.45ml.
so - total vodka volume is supposed to be 4.08ml.
Then top that up to 50ml with 95% ethanol.
Another possibility is to just wait a bit with CaCl2 - it is hygroscopic and tends to pick moisture from the air. But I do not like that idea - this is uncontrolled, potentially unclean, and the amount of water will vary.
So - thoughts, ideas, corrections?

I used Pickle Crisp by Ball food grade Calcium Chloride dissolved in eaqual part distilled water boiled to guarantee sterilization. 2/3 this 1/3 Everclear and it worked perfectly. You can buy it wherever canning supplies are sold.

fhunter,
This isn't an answer to your question, since I'm not a numbers person, but my one thought is that the main thing that appealed to me about CaCl is how simple (and cheap) it is. All I did was order some needles, got a 2 ounce bottle of cacl solution from a cheesemaking supply company on Amazon, and then injected it. It took me a few times to totally destroy them, but it really wasn't hard or complicated at all.

I agree this is the easiest method of using calcium chloride. I too bought 2 oz. from a cheesemaker and injected twice in each nut. The right was affected more and faster but same result--no calculating, no mixing. I consider it castration calcium chloride for we dummies at math and chemistry.

Reading the stories on the archives about people doing injection is interesting but i wonder sometime if it would real work and if so what the side effects could compared to just a regular castration.

Did you read this whole thread. Many people have achieved castration this way. The injections themselves can cause castration, but the most probably thing is that it damages them enough that you can convince a doctor that it is medically necessary to surgically castrate you. If you do the injections to the point of total testicle shutdown, then the effects are very similar to regular castration. However, most people end up getting an effect of significantly lowered testosterone but not quite same as surgical. There are lots of research on the matter posted in this thread.
