Proof and percentage can be confusing. In the US we use both percent and proof. Both are a statement of the amount of alcohol volumn. 100 percent alcohol is exactly the same as 200 proof (both are damn near impossible to achieve). So, 80-proof alcohol in the US is exactly 40%. Note the UK used to use proof until as a measure of volumn, but 100% alcohol was 175-proof. There is no such thing as 80 percent proof vodka. It is either 80

proof (40%) or 80%, not both.

Hope this clears this up.

Google Balkan 176 it is 88% it is also PLAIN vodka.

Beware, some of the higher proof vodka on sale in Europe is flavoured or scented.

As has been said many times here make sure it is for consumption and not flavoured with anything

Well I think the right one is done. It is very small and hard, and there is pretty much no sensation when it is squeezed. There is something that has me wondering though. The left one feels like a wet sponge. It feels almost as if there is no form to it, and when squeezing, there is no sensation in it, however it feels extraordinary squishy.

That is not very clear! Balkan 176 is 176 proof or 88%. Divide PROOF by 2 to get the percentage. There is no stronger Vodka available in the UK. This is the closest to Everclear 190 proof or 95% and stronger than Everclear 150 proof or 75%. It is about £50 including delivery from online sellers, I have not seen it in the supermarkets! The good thing is that it ia Barley Vodka, pure and as strong as you can buy in UK. (EVERECLEAR is not available in the UK, although, it might be on sale in places like Harrods who have just about anything, at a price, I will check next time i am passing,(not very often!)

Hi all and a happy new year, well I went for a scan today which as you may have read has all happened a bit to quick as I have only done 5 40% proof vodka injections any way he said there are problems and that I have to see a eurologist as soon as. Both are harder then normal and smaller but still have some sensation my labido has dropped and no more morning wood but I can still get hard if I try, so im not sure what is going on the only thing now is I hope to good what he has found has been down to me and not to the big ca?

My big question now is if I get to see the specialist how long is the vodka tracable I mean I would may be like to get another injection or two before I see him, it takes about 2 weaks for the swelling to go down but if say the appointment came through in a month wold there be any way of the vodka being traced and giving me major problems.

I will go to the appointment with only one thing in mind and even though their not dead I am going to push it the fact that my brother had testicular cancer and I tell him how upset and frightened that I may get it within the same family may help.

I live in hope.

Hi all just a quick update I went to see my GP today who has said he is going to fast track me to see a urologist asap as he is very concerned as I have said before its all been a bit quick but lets see what he say's fingers crossed I will insist they are removed and push as much as I can. There will be no time for any more injections I just have to hope ive done enough? I should see him within the next 14 days.

My brother had testiculad cancer so I am going to go in with my worry about getting it as well after all they give women mastectamy's just in case becuse of family history.

First off Id just like to say thank you for this thread.

In November I did four injections of 190 proof grain alcohol. At that point, the testes had hard spots on them. I took most of December off. They seemed to soften up a bit so I did my next injection the last week of December followed by another six days later with no pain or issues. Yesterday I attempted to do another injection. When I put the needle into the right testicle it felt like I was sticking it into a dry sponge. When I pushed the plunger there was pain, so I removed the needle and tried two different spots with the same result. At this point I went to the left one. The needle went in easier but I was only able to get 70cc into it before the pain hit. Went back to the right one for one last try and only got 20 cc in. Going to take a couple weeks off.

Id say Im getting close.
