I can relate to you wanting to make sure they get removed when you go in and to have it over with. 4 weeks after I injected the first time I had surgery and the first one was removed and the second dead shrunken one was not removed for almost 3 years and a couple more injections. I wished so many times I could of woken up to them both gone after the first surgery. The only cool part is being awake for the second surgery and my wife assisting in the surgery! Best of luck and keep us posted!

OK well unless I can find a specific reason such as heightened medical risk of second injections while still inflamed, I think I'll go with round 2 later on tonight. I have to say, reading back through this thread, some of the descriptions of the dialogue different people have had with their puzzled doctors - have had me in tears of laughter. Absolutely hilarious.

Did second shots last night. Seemed to go OK. Another 0.8cc so with the first lot of 1.3-1.5cc into each I end up with around 2cc within a week so I think that is reasonably close to the correct dose. Not too painful at the time but a bit harder to inject, kind of a bit more resistance. Woke in the night with quite a bit of pain but not to bad this morning, seems to have returned almost to same level of pain as before the injection, reasonably mild. Surprisingly I think it turned out easier to do this while still recovering from the former shots, maybe there is some desensitising. On a positive note I think I'm going to be fine and not need to go to a hospital.

Did the injection hurt when you poke your actual testicle?

While penetrating th testicle some but not bad oce in the testicle not really the testicle is most sensitive to pressure.

Seem to be through the worst of it. Managed to go for a run this morning which is great after two weeks between bed and the sofa. Still some sensitivity and swelling. Will wait to see what happens over next 30 days. Might do another shot maybe in a couple of weeks once swelling has reduced. Appreciated the support through this thank you

Re: Calcium Chloride and Other Salt Injections for Castration
Alright hello everyone i have just done another injection but i regret to say it probably wont be very effective. I mixed some pickle crisp Cacl with some 50% alcohol it was i want to say about 35% concentration total(so 35% cacl, 65%vodka). The reason why it wont be effective is because i diluted it by 50% with more vodka because i was affraid of leakage(because my needle gauge is so high at 23g). And on top of that only did about .5ml i mean my testicle is only about the size of a girls thumb. So i dont expect it to be too effective but hey atleast i minimized my leakage risk. Im guessing i will need to inject once a week .5ml at like 5% concentration for the next 3 months. Then maybe it will be destroyed. I mean writing this now after injecting maybe 10 minutes ago i feel a slight ache. I expect it to be gone by the morning.

Based upon my experience, I velieve you will not need repeated cal cl injections. I did two injections two weeks apart, with similar swelling and discomfort for several days, then waited a month while my testes shrunk, then went to doctor, and an ultrasound showed a mass in one testicle and "abnormality" in the other. Removal of the testicles were recommended out of concern of possible cancer, and I await the scheduled surgery date.
