Hi all,
Glad to hear from you, Marcy. It seems you found a way, even if it's a long one, to realize your wishes. Keep us informed.
Gabby, is it a permanent sensation? I sometimes have the sensation that my skin is burning, but it doesn't last more than 30 min, and come back to normal. Not a normal hot flash, since my skin remains dry.
I did another blood test on thursday. Results next tuesday. I hope it will confirm I'm done with injections, and that I need to go a step further in my quest for an orchidectomy.
Merry Xmas to everyone.

It wasn't a normal hot flash for me either. My normal hot flashes I feel seriously flushed for about an hour and then it passes. The sun burned sensation last night lasted for about 8 hours and my skin still doesn't feel totally normal.

Its been 9+ weeks for me now, not a single hot flash, I'm more sensitive to cold than anything else, I do feel fortunate.

Really glad to see you posting again Marcy, I'd been quite worried that something bad may have happened since you weren't around for a while

I honestly have no clue what could have caused it, but the first time I went in to the ER with testicular pain they diagnosed it as epididymitis, and a week later they changed their definition to idiopathic orchialgia, so IMHO get a second opinion. From what I was reading about epididymitis, it can be caused by STDs, or in the case of gay men, e-coli... Not saying you have an STD or are gay, that is just from my research.

Today is just "lovely"... Lately I've been having hot flashes, but today I have serious chills with no fever, I've been throwing up, and my pain is pretty much at a solid 9 every once in a while spiking to a 10...

Hi Marcy,
Good to see that you are ok; welcome back to the forum. I can tell you that taking Estridiol will feminize you quite a bit from my own experience. But, it will take about a half year to really start noticing the effects, if your system reacts like mine did. You will start to grow breasts, your skin will become softer and your weight will re-distribute more towards your waist-line. The weight redistribution is the hardest aspect of Estrogen intake to manage.
Stay in touch with us.
Danielle

njection.I have done at least 12 injections so far. I
do feel calmer and less interested in sex. I can still get erections. However, they (erections) are difficult to maintain and I don't get them very easily like I used to. I have not had my T levels check in quite awhile. My primary care doctor had an ultrasound done on me and said I have Testicular dysfunction, then referred me to a Urologist. I have not seen a Urologist yet. I am hoping to wait so they shrink down, then see a doctor. I hope to find out that they have died off and need to be removed. I have read about the big crash such as depression and aching joints when one reaches castration T levels. I have not experienced that ,but I am on anti-depressants already. I have awaken a night sweating and I have experienced a heightened sensitivity to cold especially in bed at night. Sometimes I can't seem to get warm. Lately while at work I got hot and start while working outside in a Midwest winter. I am not sure if that is part of low T levels. So, with any luck in January I will see a doctor and find out where I am at.
