Yes that one. Never seen any "western" act like it.

Amazing the audience does not spook the cats.

Thanks fhunter.

The afternoon and evening have been a light rain with a full moon.

Wild young Orange Kitty shows up earlier, consumes over hours and leaves.

Tonight Old Orange Kitty (OK-2) appeared. Same coloring and markings but bigger-bear like paws and a bigger head. Not friendly but not as hyper. They must be related.

OK-2 ate two bowls and took off in the night. I had thought OK-2 had gone to the farm.

They get only Iams or Science Diet. Rarely a bit of some cheap canned food.

Yes it does get pricey.

I tired to put Rupert on a diet, I figured the best way was to add the new food to his old KandK. the little shit would pick out the new food and spit it out, it was everywhere around his bowl on the floor, so I just switched him figuring that he would get hungry and eat it, NO, he ate the dogs food.

Now that flee season is over thank god, its a constant battle with the kids all summer around here, but they are finally flee free so for the last couple nights I have not put the dog in her crate, it is out, she can go in but the door is open. I don't think she has given it a second thought, Rupert likes to sleep on the platform on his cat tree, or a chair, a pet bed by the window, in the sink, and sometimes on my bed. Nelly thinks sleeping on my bed, under the covers is just about the best thing in the world. So last night Nelly was at the foot of the bed with a blanket over her and Rupert who loves Nelly but also thinks my time and space belongs to him first crawled up next to me, I woke up this morning with whiskers tickling my chin and my arm draped over him with my hand over Nelly, he never likes to be covered but he was and Nelly was snuggled up next to him.

Can you just feel the love.

😄

Old fat black kitty, the queen of the inside when inside, has been wanting to go out every morning as usual. I feed her a bit first then let her out. And for the last several days has scored a rodent by the fence under the bird feeder within a few minutes. I have even seen a hawk perch on the bird feeder several times. It will tilt his head to look at the ground over grown with bird seed plants. I have not seen the hawk score but it has shown interest. The black kitty cleans herself after a fresh killed meal and requests entry to her favorite place to nap.

The Siamese brothers 🐈🐈 own me as soon as I get into bed. Old Fat Black kitty :kittygray is known for being friendly and sweet only when on initial probation. As soon as she is secure, a few strokes a day are allowed other wise leave her alone. She will keep the Siamese brothers at a distance and sometimes clear them out of the family room where I sit some evening. She wants to be close, but not lap top close. Initially she use to nap near me and hug my hand drifting off into kitty twitchy sleep.

I really did not want a cat. My wife did. But, she never took care of them. They were always my cats. Once you get called into duty, y'have to wait until the cat retires. Then be firmer in the decision not to re-up. 😄

I had a pair of cats once, boy kitty and girl kitty, girl kitty was about worthless for anything other than cuddling and only that when she wanted it, boy kitty would kill squirrels and feed them to the dogs. Tough cat that one, liked to kick the crap out of any dog on the place, they always let him have the right of way so to speak and stayed our of his way.

Boy kitty knew the score and walked with a certain "come at me" swagger.😄

Old Fat Black Kitty, the huntress, is unfortunately a bit Persian. After her initial suck up to be securely adopted in a home she goes more distant. She "coos" greetings and when outside offers her belly when she wants attention. But, she absolutely refuses to be comfortable on my bed.

The Siamese brothers are all over the bed in the evening, even before I get in and we share it over night. They are both on some kitty furniture and Black Kitty is the alpha so it is not the Siamese smell. (I wonder 💡 if Siamese <cats> have less odor similar to other Asians - me bad-). The Siamese are the only cats I have ever had that liked bed time. Has anyone had experience with cats that liked to be in bed at night too? Is it a Siamese thing?

OK, Orange Kitty is by for noon feedings, stays around a few hours for topping off and is not seen until the next day. Although he use to come twice a day, he does not now.

OK-2, the friendlier, older doppelganger of OK has been by two nights straight. Accepted food and a few pets. Huge bear like shoulders, narrow waist and pelvis. I doubt he is a regular tree climber because he is a bit large. Trees seem to attract smaller cats. I think I spot it regularly about three block away - estimate because of coyote, raccoon, rat, sharing terrain.

Does anyone have a cat that likes master bed time? What kind of cat?

I had a "tonkinese" half siamese half burmese. The only reason she liked to be in bed

at night was to bite my feet if I moved.

Come to think of it, she was a very affective chastity device.

Old fat black kitty :kittygray must have found a litter of baby rodents. She carried one at a time to eat on the back lawn.

It does not help to limit the amount I feed Old fat black kitty, she supplements.

Good luck 🆕🐈 cat sitting, Punky. Please share a diary.

Loose cat nip on a towel in a secure feeling place,, and Greenies (chicken) might help.

Anybody knows any sort of lore about black cats? Cats with constantly dilated eyes?

The kitty im cat sitting has arrived, and already a couple of weird incidents have happened.
