just a quick heads up, you might have to be careful because they can see needle marks of when stuff goes in and out on some of the more advanced tests they may try and do, so its best to maybe go in and have them healed up at least for that part, unless it hurts to much.

Ultrasound scheduled. It's been a while since my last injection. I plan to inject a couple days prior so they are swollen when I go in. Are there any tips to get the doctor to suggest removal? Anything to be concerned about? I don't want them to suggest biopsy or partial removal for testing or something.
I find it really depends on the doctor. You want a doctor that is familiar enough with cancer to suspect cancer, but not so knowledgeable as to be able to differentiate self-damage. For example, I recently went into a urologist with damaged penis and balls (due to injections) and the urologist was a specialist in urinary issues and he had me get an ultrasound and he freaked out when he saw the damage and actually sat down and told me he probably would have to remove everything -- but then he got another opinion from another urologist in the center and the guy took one look and said "what did you inject?".
Similarly, even those that suspect cancer will vary. Some will be cautious and do biopsy, or only remove one at a time, so there is a risk of not getting everything fully removed.
I personally would go with them not too swollen but still firm and misshapen. An ultrasound will definitely pick up on a lot of internal issues, so you won't have problems with them realizing your balls are in bad shape. After that, really just depends on the doctor.

I have a question - if someone does this do they necessarily have to go to the doctor over it? Could you achieve castration with this method alone and just leave the balls alone in there for a while until you're in a good situation to seek a doctor and see about removing them?

Depends if there are complications! With my right testicle it had to be removed due to my not knowing all I should have and part of it leaked out. My left I did multiple injections and totally killed it and was not having any problems it shrunk to almost nothing but I hated still having it!removal at that point was like nothing!

I'm kinda weighing my options and going over things in my head. I really would like to be off antiandrogens and just naturally have castration levels of testosterone. Seeing a surgeon to get them removed is a long way off though, and if a few injections can take care of my balls, it sounds pretty good. Kinda debating alcohol injections versus salt, and also debating about whether I should even do it at all. The thought of injecting my balls is pretty scary, and I already give myself IM injections with nice long needles weekly.

If you are not 100 percent sure Do Not do it you can't undo it!

Oh I'm far more than 100% positive I want my balls gone, I've already been taking antiandrogens for nearing 3 years and I never want them pumping out testosterone again, or anything else for that matter.
The thing is that I'm not sure whether I'd want to try this specific method or not or just continue taking antiandrogens until I can get surgery.

More accurately, there's only one person who can answer it, and he's not sure right now.

Mainly I am just reading up more and more about it and trying to gauge my comfort level with it. The thought of doing it makes me nervous but at the same time the thought of not having to take AAs anymore and being naturally at
is really nice. It'd also be incredibly convenient.
But then this weighs against the risks. It is something only I can decide of course.
If the testicles are already shrunken a good deal, would this technique perhaps be more effective? Mine have become quite a lot smaller than they once were. I also wonder what the proper amount of fluid to inject would be considering the size of my testicles.
