I do agree with these comments. Most of the potential risks are well described all along this thread, even if one can fall on an uncommon phenomenon, as e.g. higher uric acid in blood I experienced not long ago, caused by a changed metabolism and lower hormones.

The choice must be made with a maximum of information, which must be regarded with a critical eye. The potential benefits or risks can never be fully measured before you act.

I think the worst and most difficult thing about performing the first injection is the sheer nervous tension. My hands just weren't steady and it took some delay and a LOT of concentration that first time. After that, the next most difficult thing was keeping the damned things steady so I could inject them. They're slippery in the scrotum for a reason. Holding each one with the scrotal skin firmly wrapped around them made it a LOT easier.

I don't actively discourage anyone regarding this matter. I remind them it's a purely individual decision and action, and it's entirely THEIR responsibility and noone else's. It requires cleanliness, it requires sterile procedures, and it always requires a fresh new syringe. Don't overdo it, don't rush it. It takes time (two to three months or more) and it takes tons of patience. It requires listening to your body's reactions. If you don't understand the anatomy of the testicles, then you haven't read the thread, and you shouldn't try this. If you think there will be absolutely no discomfort, you're wrong. If you think it's 100% safe, you're wrong. There's a perfect example in this thread of someone who had problems, but thankfully he recovered over time. If you mistakenly inject the epididymus, you're in for a world of pain, for several hours. If you force too much ethanol into your testicle, you can expect tons of swelling and possibly a ruptured testicle. Finally, don't blame the Eunuch Archive or anyone here if/when things go wrong. You decided to do this, you did this, you bear 100% of the responsibility for your own actions.

I repeat myself when I say, don't do this. But if you must, do it slowly and with the utmost of caution.

I did. And it worked.

The biggest error I made was going too much too soon.

On the 2 occasions when the Everclear leaked out of my balls into my scrotum, BIG PAIN.

I found that I needed to insert the needle way into the ball, and not close to the injection point.

Otherwise the alcohol would leak out of the injection point and cause pain.

I mean REAL PAIN.

Injecting causes some pain, aching, discomfort.

But if the alcohol touches the outer membranes of the ball or gets into the scrotum,

you are talking about BIG HURT, BIG TIME.

Other than that, my balls are shrunken, very hard, very numb, dead.

Could not be happier.

I am thinking that it would be neat to get a group on line of EATI people.

Seems like are a small, but growing group.

Hash,Thanks for the the advice. I have one teste that has very little feeling, and the other has some tendernous, and it swelled up some. They don't seem to be ready for a visit to a Urologist.

I have the nervous shakes in my hands every time I inject. I also use a rubber band around one teste at a time. That keeps them close to the scrotum, making it much easier to inject.

I've also had the case of the 'nerves' on the four times (for a total of three sets of injections). For the first two sets of injections, I held my testicles firmly with one hand while operating the needle with the other. While your thumb and forefinger do a great job of holding the testicle tight to the scrotum, the one hand to operate the needle is tricky. For the third set of injections, I used a piece of ribbon in the way that many have used a rubber band to hold the testicle tight to the scrotum. While that method doesn't seem to provide as good of a grip, having two hands to work the needle more than made up for it.

Also, on all injections so far, I have done them standing up. Next time will try sitting down.

Gave the second injection five days ago. With the right one I was slightly off center and the alcohol would not go in easily. After getting some of the alcohol in I decided not to force it. When I pulled the needle out there was a bit of blood and the testicle was sore. Turns out the tip was clogged with a piece of flesh. At that point I did the left one and had no problem. Filled up another needle and finished the right one in a different spot.

The next morning the right one was very sore. It's still sore to the touch but not too bad. It was very sore up until two days ago. Don't know what caused it or what I hit. Looking at diagrams I shouldn't have hit anything dangerous and got no blood in the needle when I pulled the plunger back.

Today I completed my fourth injection on my left testicle (only). I set out to do both R and L, but after doing my left my scrotum tightened up, and made it about impossible to do the right one. Not sure if it was the room temperature (it's cold where I live), or what, but needless to say, I had to put off doing Rightey until tomorrow.

Today's injection went better than all previous ones. I sat down this time, and, like last time, used a ribbon to tie the testicle off to free up both hands. Injected in a different spot than previous injections. Had no problems getting the needle in, and because I was sitting down, was really able to take my time injecting, moving only a couple tick marks (each tick on my 1 cc syringes is 0.01 cc) at a time. There was very little discomfort during the injection, and mild discomfort afterwards. The testicle is fairly tender to the touch now though, but the epididimus (sp?) is not tender at all. Had a small droplet of blood after I removed the needle.

Unless anyone strongly objects, I'll continue posting my experiences with this to add to this (excellent) body of knowledge.

With four injections now, what is your mental state? My experience was I had started feeling calmer and less interest in sex. I have done six injection now and I like my results so far. I my case I noticed the testes have drawn up close to abdomen. That seems to make you more aware of them when you sit down I had pain for a couple of hours one one injection, however I realize the next to inject slowly. Make sure you keep things sterile. Keep on posting

A few of you may be interested to know that exactly 4 weeks had past as of yesterday of my Orchiectomy. I had a Creatnine level and a Testosterone test yesterday, The results of the Creatine is 1.2, that falls within the normal range of the kidney function, this pleases me. But to really make me happy My Testosterone level is 24.7. Normal range for this is 239 to 836 ng/dl. I would say with no doubt having your testicles removed effects your testosterone levels.
