My friends here in northern Calif have been thanking me for the rain, what is funny is seeing them with parkas on, its 60 outside its like they think its cold.

The Big Story is the Poorest Excuse to call Rain I can imagine.
My rain gauge barely has a wet bottom although "they" report 0.1" as a small victory.

I've got a -25F wind chill factor. More snow showers but it could hit +30F this weekend! Heat wave!

Snow in Portland for the first time since 2009. Off from work: town is pretty well shut down. Love snow days, a little paid vacation.
