An inspector was out yesterday and assured me I'd get partial electricity soon. I should have asked for a definition of "soon"
ATM no electricity, gas, phone, Internet. cable TV.
On the plus side, RED CROSS was out here and gave me $130 towards clothes and $90 towards food.
I'd trade the Red Cross stuff for Lights, Internet and a TV
Thanks to all who are helping,
Mac
BTW hunter, I like the new pix

I am thinking that a Dark Lord, Red Nun and many members armed with Burdizzos might be able to speed things up for you.

Just a couple of minutes ago I got a call from Uncle Mackie's power company. The reconnection is FINALLY approved. All they need to do now is get someone out there to do it. I was told that it should happen within the next 24 hours.
I'll keep bugging them until I know that it's up and running....

WOO HOO - I finally have electricity
Tomorrow I'll borrow a cell and call TimeWarner to reconnect my cable, Internet and phone. Hopefully, that won't take another week. Unless I'm cursed, I should be online soon - lol
Monday, I call the Gas company. I need a hot shower, a stove and a lil heat.
Thank you all for helping

I love Edison, my electric company, they not only gave me LIGHTS but reduced my back bill to -0-.
I contacted Time Warner about my TV, Internet and Phone. They will be out Monday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm to see what needs to be done. Then, supposedly, a team will come out to restore my services in 1-3 days.
I'll call Southern Calif Gas Company on Monday and say TURN THE DAMNED GAS BACK ON. I refuse to take cold showers.
