Use a cooling pack on it, mostly this will help in one or two days to recover from epiditymitis. But try to cool only the testickle, not the bladder, otherwise you can get other problems.
I have such problems any times in the year and it has ever helped me.
thanks jojo i'll give it a go! x

Thanks again *jojo25jj* the ice has helped. Laying down seems to help also.
I went to the Dr today who said I most likely have epididymo-orchitis (as you said *freddyde*! but plus orchitis because the testis is inflamed as well) it could also be a hernia but he doesn't think so.
I pointed out that both testes are lumpy and said that both are sore. He's sent me for an ultrasound of both testes and groin area. I said because I'm trans if they have to open me up I'll push for bilateral orchiectomy, which he agreed to. It's less trauma than two operations, and less risk of future complications if I want GCS/SRS. He's put me on anti-biotics until the ultrasoud.
Do I think this is caused by the injections? No... I think I had an unrelated UTI which has led to the epididymo-orchitis. I can't say that with certainty of course.

I have it often on the one side, but with ice it is fast going away.
Good, that is also helping you! Mostly it is no bacteriell based inflamation so it will fast recover itself. Only my epiditymis is on the one side a bit harder then the other one, but no problem.

Day 2 of forte antibiotics and the pain has subsided markedly. I don't think it was related to the injections.

Hi, i am interested in what details members have been given after their removed testicles were sent to the Path lab. Reading through the thread most seem to have just been told there was a form of scarring/trauma inside. Has anyone ever been questioned over needle tracks or other visible signs ? I am due to be castrated in clinic in 2 weeks and I am tempted to give the balls one more dose just for old times sake but dont want to leave any visible signs.

I can only say that I put so much CaCl in that they had to decalcify my testicle prior to running any tests. They never questioned me about it.
I just looked around for my path report so I could tell you exactly what it said but couldn't find it. I had been nervous about it, but in the end they are primarily just looking for evidence of cancer.

Well reading this post about calcium chloride, I started to work in a kitchen and I noticed a container of food grade calcium chloride 77%. It just reminded me of this post, I really wouldn't choose calcium chloride as a way for castration, think it would be too painful.
