Yeah, I feel this way...

It's 19 deg F and going colder with lots of wind out there. In the last five minutes it fell two degrees. Supposed to be 16 deg F with nasty wind chills.

I stuck my head out to see the "reality" of the weather forecast for 3 inches of snow that is only a half an inch deep. I hate weathermen. Honest. There is no limit to the depths of my feelings. They've been going on all day predicting 3 inches of snow and they are all full of it. It's been the talk of the town (yes, there is a beautiful downtown "Eighty Four." It is my very own little town and it consists of a red light. Why at certain times of the day, it has traffic jams.) Regardless, weathermen would be ground up like sausage, cooked in their own fats, and fed to swine.

Sigh!

Now Dave, if the weatherman says you could get up to 6" of snow and only get 1 this is a good thing, however if he said clear dry and warm and you get 1"of snow you would be rightly upset.

I know just how you feel, were only 15 miles from the cities and they can get lots of bad weather that is heading our way and it never shows up, that's the river effect, (not me the St Croix River).

So I guess if they are at least in the right direction you should be happy.

I just checked, the temperature is now 12 deg F. I think that's a record for the past several years.

Tomorrow it's only going to reach 16 degrees as a high temperature. I thought about going food shopping but I have enough food for tomorrow. Saturday will be 37 degrees and even if it rains it will be better to go out then.

That's not the coldest I've been in. In January 1979 the temperature fell to -20 deg F. and that is unbelievably cold.

I remember it because my house was being built and the shell was up with windows but nothing could heat just wooden walls without insulation. It cost me moving 6 weeks late.

Another warm, dry day.

Dry Winter is so much drier feeling than a dry Summer. It feels drier and the plants require more imported water too.

Monday it is supposed to get down to -18 to -24 in this area. I can remember -32 (1996 I think) and once my thermometer reached -36. I should be so lucky to get +12 degrees from Saturday night or for the next week or so. --FLO--

As seems to be the pattern, AZ began with blasts of precip and now has dried. A jacket is sufficient in the mountains, lighter jacket in the lower desert.

It is just cold and cold here and its cold and what can I say but its fucken cold out side, see Flo's post we live about 15 miles from each other.
