Orange Kitty is coming everyday these last few days and twice today. 1/3 cup is the standard hard food dose for a cat. O.K. has been taking in a half cup of hard food plus the equivalent of over half a can of soft food these last few days.
Fleas.
Fleas luv me. Mosquitoes do too. Not bees.
I have used Frontline Plus on the Siamese brothers, and the same + a Capstar tablet to half outside, Black Kitty. For a few days I have not been flea bit but, now I am again. Probably from Black Kitty. Ideas? One's that work.
Orange Kitty only gets a Capstar tablet because I cannot get near enough to apply Frontline Plus drops.
I'm not a fan of collars. I'd rather tie up their little pawsies.

Kennel dust or Severn (sp) its the same stuff, just dust the area they sleep in or come to you and the flees will die.
You can also dust your house if you have a flee problem in the carpet.

Instead of treating the cats, treat yourself. Try large doses of Vitamin B1; tastes bitter and the fleas don't like it.

Orange Kitty took yesterday off. When I opened the front door at 11AM, there he was. Sitting pretty, and cat smiling with satisfaction at my training. The little guy ate 2/3 of a cup of hard food, 3 brands mixed, and took off until next time. I wish I could domesticate it. Suggestions? I talk to him. Make cat gestures like tongue sign, yawning, stretching, appearing uninterested and sitting nearby but I cannot get within fifteen feet of OK.
The indoor Siamese brothers are the same and fat Black Kitty has not been seen with a kill for a couple of weeks although stalking was observed.
Fleas have remained under control although Black Kitty required a Capstar tablet and a Frontline Plus drops. More holistic approaches never worked for me. One with Eucalyptus oil was overpowering as a cat collar. Polluted the whole house with eye tearing irritating air. Eucalyptol is an irritant. I like the flea hormone tricks. Very non toxic to mammals.

This hurting, mournful "meow" comes from the yard.
Ole fat Black Kitty was just announcing her "kill". A small rodent.
Untouchable, Orange Kitty comes by once or twice a day. Looking healthier. OK was observed with BK as BK sat in a content smiling mode. OK came near and let out a "meow", peaceably as OK sat unphased. Unfortunately my observation made OK run off. BK and OK use to fight. They are now

with each other.

You must watch South Park, Season 11, Episode 4.
The government could plant a "snuke" and you'd never know it until . . .
