I had to take my car to get a flat tire fixed and 1 mile from my house it started to rain. Four miles further on, it stormed so bad that I needed wipers on full and to slow down-- (I had the pretend tire spare on the car and it has no tread for rain) and a mile later, the rain went away and only a drizzle stayed.
The tire blew out a mile from home last night and that last mile took me 2 hours to get a tow truck.
mostly drizzle all day. It's 54 degrees F and going to be 61 tomorrow. That's winter. Intermittent rain for four days with flood warnings because it's suppose to total an inch plus of rain.
I went food shopping (which was like a zoo) and most of the crazies weren't shopping for Christmas dinner, yet. Sunday Monday and Tuesday are going to be complete idiocy at the supermarkets.
I'm not doing the fish thing this year because I'm not.
I bought 6 steaks, 4 big boneless chicken breasts, a half dozen chicken thighs, a flank steak, meatballs, pork short ribs and two types of potatoes, and bread, and 4 boxes of sugar frosted shredded wheat. Yay regularity. I get the weirdest looks when I check out.

We had nice, pretty snow for days here, then it rained and rained and got warm, well, 55F, for two days. Melted the snow. Rained some more. Everything is wet, now it's going to be +7F tonight. No white Christmas. Oh well. At least the ice missed us.

It SNOWED here, everything is white, it will be a White Christmas if you celebrate such nonsense, we don't. So its just all nice and white outside, I am enjoying it as it will hopefully be the last time I spend a winter in this shit.

Ok. It is raining now.
Sometimes it looks like I met a Djinn and made a wrongly interpreted wish. I wished for warmth, and here it is - +4°C, rain and all.
Obviously no snow, and we do not expect anything lower that 0°C at least till New Year.

When I go to work, it is still dark.
When I go from work, it is already dark.
About 6 hours

. That is what you get if you live 7° from Arctic Circle.

I thought it would be less because of your advertised bright summer nights.
Best Wishes and don't get SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder)
