Plumbers will be billing me for the following: (1) Running a snake through my kitchen pipes (2) Repairing my water heater (3) Crawling under my house three times risking life and limb with my six-foot spider (4) Replacing several feet of galvanized pipe under my house with plastic pipes.

Total cost $375.00

By tonight, I'll be able to use my sink once again. Yay.

sheep thinks life is good for the wolf.. kitty is back... hot water.. cooking.. yayyyyyy

Cat is currently enjoying deli-ham :)

The fact that you kitty cat returned to your home must say something about you. :) She must be a happy kitty. Would not return unless she felt welcome. ðŸąThe way a cat feels about who they live with is very finicky. :kittygrayPerhaps your cooking is not all that bad. Or you just buy good food for her. In any case she must love you. You have won over her heart. Something to feel good about yourself for sure. ðŸąðŸ›ïļ

Good things: I have hot water, four burners to cook on and heat.

Bad News: The oven won't light, my recent gas bill was $764 and my phone is deceased.

Life is never boring - ðŸŽķ

Think about getting a prepaid cell phone. I have one from Virgin Mobile (insert any joke here). I don't need to make many calls. It's mostly for emergencies or my family/work to contact me. I use about $10 worth of credit a month. ðŸ’Ą

Excellent idea micropenis. Ken_SD suggested the same thing. Ken called Verizon for me last night and got me a Thursday appointment. Tomorrow, I'll run down to our big mall where there's a booth of cell phone dealers and find a semi-reasonable cell. I'd use it for emergencies like this too.

Ken is going to call my gas company too. Not only did they neglect to turn my stove back on but they forgot to re-light the for the heater in my mom's former bedroom.

Come June 16 this "One Day in the Life of a Wolf" will be three years old and will be more like 1000 days in the life of a wolf. Are there limits to threads? When does a thread become a blog? Just an inquiry for informational purposes. Not making any negative comment or insinuation. There is much interesting and useful info contained herein, but with upwards of 84 screens of entries it is a tad overwhelming. xxxooo. :-|

If you have meet MacWOlf you will know it is not 1000 days. For him it is more like just one very long and never ending day.

More like a twilight Zone Day ðŸĪŠ 🔍 👁ïļâ€ðŸ—Ļïļ ðŸ˜ē

Everything works in my house except me. I could use someone to install a new kitchen faucet but I can afford to pay them.

I thought Social Security told me I was getting a Medicare card. What I received was a Medi-cal card instead. Is that better or worse?

I didn't plan on a long lasting thread. It began as a cry for help over a mother, dog, police problem and expanded exponentially.

Even if you're getting Social Security, you have to be 65 to be on Medicare. Medi-cal would be the State program. I don't know how it compares to Medicare, but it's probably better in your case, since it probably covers doctor's care, while you have to pay extra for Medicare part B to get that under Medicare.
