Shut-off valve to floor furnace us under the house. Gas company techs refuse to crawl down there.
Because ass in the air in the crawl space makes them look like prairie rats?

I called out the plumbers who charged me $225 to crawl under my house to fix my gas leak. It seems the line, which they left me to show the Gas Company, had a two inch gash in it.
Gas Company tech is due to be here before 9:00pm to inspect the work, turn back on my gas and re-light my pilots.

Hope you make him go under the house to inspect the joints.

The So Calif Gas Company tech said the plumbers fixed the leak in my floor furnace but he found a second leak in my water heater.
Tomorrow I call the plumbers back to repair the water heater.
No heat again tonight. It's not that cold but my house does get down to 40 F. which is cold on my arthritic joints.

While the plumbers were here yesterday going in and out, they constantly left the front door open. My gray kitty has gone missing
I searched every inside room and every nook and cranny.
I've offered a reward of $20 to anyone who brings back the cat or crawls under the house to get it. Neighbors says they have seen it under there.

Cat showed up at my door after chased by neighbor kid. Since the kid didn't actually catch and return him, I gave him $5.00
Cat is currently enjoying deli-ham

HOORAY, I have gas, must be IEunuch's cooking. It's great to have hot water again.
Plumbers will be billing me for the following: (1) Running a snake through my kitchen pipes (2) Repairing my water heater (3) Crawling under my house three times risking life and limb with my six-foot spider (4) Replacing several feet of galvanized pipe under my house with plastic pipes.
Total cost $375.00
By tonight, I'll be able to use my sink once again. Yay.
