I walked over to pay Verizon my $220 phone bill so now I'm connected again. No idea why it was so high as I don't make long distance calls.

I then called The Gas Company telling them either I have a leak or my gas meter is insane. They sent me a bill for $465. No way am I paying that.

Gas man is due before 8:00pm tonight.

Gas company man was here by 7:30pm and thought it was important enough to scheduele a special inspection today by a two man team.

Woo hoo, I think.

Are ya familar with the term, "passing the buck?" (no offense to Bambi)

Gas company tech just left. He said it was responsibility of gas tech who was here last night. First gas tech is due today by 4:30pm.

lazy-assed utility company.

I wonder if Gas techs are the same all over the nation?

I'd wager Kristoff or Paolo wouldn't put up with this crap :)

Maybe they have been sniffing too much gas.

Or are they sniffing too much gas from your house????

Gas tech just left for the last time. Yes, my floor furnace is leaking. My gas was shut off for the entire house.

Thank gawd for my toaster oven, microwave and electric heater :)

I just arrived back home from hoofing it down to Social Security. It seems I will receive an additional $350 a month from SSI, Medicare and back payments of SSI totaling $1,700.

Despite no gas or heat, the year is looking up. 🎶

🙋 I am confused why didn't they just turn off the gas to the furnace?????? Every gas appliance should have its own shut off valve.

Shut-off valve to floor furnace us under the house. Gas company techs refuse to crawl down there.
