So recovery has been very slow. I have had all other signs of returning testosterone (body smell, energy, better sleep, ability to run again, returning morning woods, hot flashes almost gone) except sex drive until this thursday. Until this thursday I masturbated only once a week, usually at saturdays. But now it seems I need to do it more often. Also, today I felt that annoying buzz of sex drive, that makes me feel like I need some immediate sexual release. But still, it is far from masturbating twice a day. amount of semen is still quite small, but not anymore a single drop of clearish fluid. I have noticed that hair from my head started to fall off again.

Time to time I have sharp pains in my balls, I wonder if it is connected to waking them up. The size has not increased yet.

I think it is important to add that right after finishing previous post I started to feel very horny. Like I felt before chemical castration. Also I measured my balls, their size has increased almost to normal, before chem castrations size. before they measured 37ml per testicle and now 35ml. That is a substantial increase from 27ml. that has happened so fast. I expected that my balls would not return to their pre trial size.

Return of libido has been rapid and sudden. It is still not te same as before chemcastration, but I went from masturbation rate of once a week to once a day in like 3 days.

While energy levels haven't increased much. Also some acne has returned. It seems like at low levels T provides energy and at higher level it starts to produce libido and acne. We'll see if it will fluctuate during coming months. Erections have become hard again and morning woods are regular and last longer and longer.

It felt like being in hell when my libido returned following a period of chemical castration. Couldn't go back on Androcur fast enough.

yea, it seems like libido is now as annoying as constant tiredness was during chemcastration. But libido has not returned fully yet.

How do you measure the volume of testis?

I never described how I do that.

As testicles volime is difficult to measure precisely, I use one method to see the difference in size.

I have elastrator. With elastrator rubber ring I get my testicles squeezed to the same shape when I need to measure them. Then it is easy to measure their lenght and width with vernier caliper and then use ellipsoid volume calculator to calculate volume. It is not precise regarding true testicular volume, but it is precise enough to register small volume change in testicular size.

In my case it was very indicative when I put elastrator ring around my testicles. Before chemcastration it was quite difficult to get second ball through, while on androcur, both my balls slipped through rubber ring with ease. 25% change in volume allowed this.

I've been following the shrinkage of my testicles following Androcur and CaCl2 and they're now small enough that I don't know if I'm getting a good measure of their function. Much of their volume is hard, most likely dead tissue. They're about 20% of their original volume for what that's worth.
