Do it. It would be nice to finally put a face to a name!

If it's in the 90's, I can wear shorts and a T-shirt! Nice!

Hot ! Hot ! Hot !

Although it is only 82F its' the humidity too.

Hotter by the ocean, I am on a bluff about a mile inland.

I am laying down a heavy watering today with low running sprinklers and hoses frequently moved.

Squirrel sightings have gotten a lot more frequent. The Coyote is harvesting cats again.

The corn is not very sweet at all. The Mission Figs are doing great & sweet although the tree remains a runt.

The nursery just called to report my 24 gallon Santa Barbara Peach has arrived. A tasty free stone yellow peach that should match well with my Babcock White dribbily delicious peach success this year.

A young hawk or female kestrel (more likely) perched on my bird feeder for the longest time.

We both got a long look at on another.

Gotta go. Have to distribute that imported water her at the desert by the sea.

Yup and Yup !

I use to be able to walk in the desert heat.

Except for a hot tub or sauna, I melt if the temp is much over 80 or humidity is present.

Plus, the humidity makes it hard to breathe. Hit the asthma inhaler a lot more.

The news showed some pretty severe flash floods out MacWolf way.

The bank said 105 today, my truck said 100F in the shade.

It was 96 in the shaded area in the creek bottoms, with near 100% humidity. We did get a passing popup storm, but it didn't rain enough to get the rain barrel 1/4 full. I'd say it won't even revive the grass.

That horrible humidity is finally gone. I can breathe.

The temperature has been in the high seventies and programmed to rise, but dry rise. That's better.

I manage 1 - 3 Mission Figs a day and a very small ear of corn eaten fresh and raw in my yard.

It is finally becoming sweet.

My Fuji apples still need sweetening time although they are Not Unripe.

I wish I had a late season peach or plum.

This weather pattern is most like our October Indian Summer.

I wonder what October will bring because crops have been coming in weeks early in the central valley.

Anyone had any of them flash floods or hail ?

Any weather to share ?

Moi
