Castration (imported) wrote: Tue Jan 03, 2012 8:43 am It is very nice to see at least one doctor offer this service. Like someone said, there needs to be one in every state.

That said, I have been talking to a doctor in Mexico I finally met during my last vacation that has really impressed me (he speaks perfect English). He explained everything to me (it was a free class if nothing else) about the effects, types of surgery, how the "cutters" usually do it (he said there are some good ones, but none that know enough detail to do a perfect job), etc. He said he has been working on a book about underground medicine ("cutting", abortion, etc) and this is why he was on another website where I originally met him.

However, he is not a specialist. He is a general doctor that right now is in a rural clinic. I really have to ask how "specialized" does a doctor need to be to castrate? This guy does deliveries, emergency med (drug overdose, lots of sewing from accidents, old patients), etc. When I was there, I got to see him cut out and close an old wound on 91-year-old patient that never healed. It was impressive.

My question is would you trust a general doctor, even though he has a lot of general surgical experience? He said he would cut me, but is not something he would want to advertise. He said the supplies would be less than $150, about $250 for labs (blood type, blood clotting factors, general blood test, etc), and $750 for him to actually do it. He has been able to give me detailed answers to every question, so I think he is probably my best option. What are your opinions?

My humble opinion: what options are available if something goes wrong? For example, if you are in Michigan and there is a problem, there are a lot of emergency rooms with trauma surgeons within a few miles. I would not be as confident if I were at a rural Mexican clinic.

Would anyone here be willing to talk to me over the phone about your experience with dr. arnkoff? i've started a conversation with him and want to schedule an appointment, but want to talk to someone who has been there.

My experience is with Dr. Fara, but no reason an experienced urologist could not do it. Yes, you should get a feeling if he is still active and competent. Good idea

I would also ask the question, is there a nurse type person there to assist in the procedure. I am available if you want to talk about my experience. Send a private message if you want.

Hmm....

That's a Tuesday, I was under the impression that the procedures are only done on Saturdays and Sundays?

Yesterday he sent me open dates that were Tuesdays and Saturdays. Maybe demand is high or clients need a weekday option?

Yes it is a Tuesday. However, I'm very local to him (20 miles) and he has my medical records from previous medical exams.

ClaireAnnette,

Definately remember to call Dr Arnkoff tomorrow to confirm your appointment. I've been in contact with his receptionist, and she will be going on maternity leave here shortly.

On the 28th of January Dr Arnkoff will remove them....and I will really celebrate a new year. It has seemed a bit like a child waiting on Christmas to arrive.....the days seem to move so slowly.

When I spoke with him he indicated weekdays would be possible under special circumstances, subsequent information I've seen on the Internet indicated he was only doing them on Saturdays and Sundays.

Since I'm about 1700 miles away some additional planning and lead time were necessary for me, so they let me schedule March 17 which is a Saturday, but I'm supposed to confirm the end of February.

What part of town are you in MIunich1. Eastside here, just down 696 from Dr. A.
