Does anyone know the alt-keystroke for a MAC that generates the "e"?
Such as ALT-and hit-0169 will give you "©".
Hold down alt key and type 069 for E
Hold down alt key and type 101 for e

I found out I'll be losing the gas next Tuesday. It's the one utility I can afford to lose: doing dishes in water heated in microwave and cold water for laundry is no biggie. Cold showers might be a bitch as well as no stove. Not having heat I'm used to

You need heat in California? We don't even turn it on here in the Tundra til December when it gets colder.
