48 hours since surgery and no real bad pain just some bad bruises and swelling. I took the week off from work to recover but if I had too I could of gone back to work today. After the surgery I was not able to keep anything down, not sure if was the anastasia or the pain meds. I stopped the pain meds after the third dose and now everything is fine. I will keep you posted on the results from the biopsy after my follow appointment on 5/12. The surgeon told my wife my testis were very hard snall and dark. He as not seen any In that shape before.

Thank you for this useful and information thread. I just finished reading this thread from first post, took me a while.
I have a question, say the CaCl2 + alcohol kill the balls successfully, is it safe to leave the balls atrophy inside?

With the exception of a torsion, if the testes die of a medical condition they will atrophy and be absorbed into the body. This will only happen once all blood supply to the testicle has stopped. If you inject CaCl + alcohol evenly through the testicle the testicle will die.
The reason many have to do so many injections, like me, is that when they start out the tendency is to inject just the central part of the testicle.
If you use a long fine needle and inject a small amount at a time with a long fine 26-28 gauge needle it will be achieved in a fewer injections. Of course the size and shape of the testicle varies from person and you need to plan the injection sites to get maximum coverage.
The body will absorb dead tissue and raise white cell count. I know a couple of Eunuchs that with burdizzo have absorbed their testes over a long time. Many that have injected get ascending testes, but usually they are removed before they absorb.
I don't know of anyone injecting who has had a complete ascension/absorption.
Before it was removed one of my testes was ascending higher and higher over many months.
In general it is better to have dead tissue excised, which is why we know that if we prove the boys are dead most surgeons will remove them. Unless you are me and it takes extreme measures to stop the doctors from trying to save them.

Thank you, I will take that as there's no rush to have them removed, in terms of safety.

CHEMICAL CASTRATION BY INTRATESTICULAR INJECTION OF A CALCIUM CHLORIDE IN ALCOHOL SOLUTION IN DOGS

ABSTRACT Calcium chloride dihydrate nonsurgical male dog neuter/sterilization has been known in the published literature since the 1970’s and has been the subject of a series of studies in multiple species in India; but until now, no large, controlled study has been conducted by an independent team outside India to validate the results. In order to be used with confidence in the field, calcium chloride injectable sterilization must be backed by detailed safety and effectiveness documentation from more than one team, showing both its potential effectiveness and any risks. Without contact with the original researchers, we attempted to validate the results, determine a standardized concentration using their suggested dosing regimen (volume per testicular width), understand why different researchers have had varying results, and select the most effective standardized formulation for going forward. For dose determination, 40 dogs of mixed breed were divided in four equal groups, respectively injected with 10%, 20%, 30%, and 60% calcium chloride dihydrate (CaCl2) in saline solution. Semen evaluation was performed by CASA (Computer Assisted Sperm Analysis) system at months 2, 6, and 12. This study revealed a dose-dependent relationship when CaCl2 in saline was used. 10% and 20% concentrations maintained sterility past 6 months in some but not all dogs. The maximum response in contraception was noted at 30% and 60% concentrations, but the higher concentrations had higher risk of abscess-fistulization, as presented in photos. We concluded that although calcium chloride in saline has considerable effectiveness, it is not reliably effective at doses that are free from risk of adverse events. Blood testosterone is under evaluation. Calcium chloride in alcohol: Based on the dose-determination study, we chose 20% concentration of CaCl2 as the best chance at effectiveness without adverse events, and sought to improve our results. Early publications reported greater effectiveness, less tenderness, and fewer complications with alcohol as a base rather than saline; pure food-grade ethanol alcohol is also economical and readily available. We hoped to obtain similar outcomes. Twenty-one dogs of mixed breed, 4.7±1.23 years old, 20±5.84 kg of body weight, were lightly sedated and injected into both testes with a solution of 20% calcium chloride dihydrate in 95% ethanol alcohol. Results are presented. Calcium chloride in lidocaine. In the pivotal studies of calcium chloride from India, a lidocaine solution was generally used, not saline or alcohol. We sought to compare the three solutions head-to-head. In this ongoing experiment, 21 dogs of mixed breed were injected with 20% CaCl2 in lidocaine 1% solution. Two months later, dogs showed azoospermia and no libido. In our experience to date (10+ months), although we found calcium chloride in both alcohol and lidocaine bases to cause reliable neutering free from chronic pain or stress, we found one to be superior in speed of onset. Long-term results and testosterone measures to 1 year remain under evaluation, and the latest figures will be presented.

sugery update, been two weeks since my castration and the swelling is gone. I went to get the final pathology report yesterday and I can say after 5 years of Androcur, Depo Provera, and 3 injections of CACL here are the results.
Left testicle orchiectomy:
Benign testicular tissue with extensive atrophy, area of infarction and chronic ischemic changes
Periphery shows scatted calcification and focal ossificanation.
Sertoli only change present.
Spermatic cord margin viable.
Right testicle orchietomy:
same as above but also Incidental begign adenomatios tumor.
i will go back to my doctor in 3 months for my final check up, I love the new me and my wife is looking forward to our new life together without any sexal needs for me, i can focus on her and her boytoys.

Thank you for sharing, Cb200user. Our pathology reports are very similar. I posted mine here to share:

I was very surprised that after at least 3 CaCl injections the report said that one side was still producing sperm. It was a shadow of its original size. I went from an 18 to a 1 on the orchidometer.
I Love the thought that the jars had my name on them, a technician had them in his/her hands, and they were sliced onto many slides for preservation.
