Don't rush it. I did a test run at 32 years of age. On a dose of 2x50 mg /day I was almost impotent at the end of the thirth week. I quit after a month, but it took nearly three months to recover completely.

And, most important of all, my testes are now still a little bit smaller than before the test run. I know because they now pass far more easy a padlock.

I think this is the story of many test runs.

One must not forget Cyproterone acetate is hepatotoxic. So, the smallest dose has to be looked for. Androcur is a very, very powerful drug. Although it is supposed to be completely reversible, I would regard it as a dangerous drug.

Please take care of yourself, and do not take unnecessary risks.

I did 3 test runs with it, first time causd major depressoin - bad bad...

Second time not so much as I was lighter on the dose but some..

Third time I was just expending the last packages so I cut hte pills in half and went 25mg per day. Even taking it for 2 weeks it was ALMOST 3 months before I got "Full" control back...

And I have not had the desires that I used to have before I took it, once a day is plenty enough now but not required either..I could go 3 or 4 days without thinking about it...

i have been on androcur for 4 months now, orginally noticed a dramatic increase in being tired, but that has passed. havent had sex or ejaculated since the first month, dont get morning errections but every once in a while a get a half erection seeing something interesting doesnt last for more the a few minutes and never goes any further. I have deffinetly been calmer and more relaxed and havent felt this good or productive in a long time. Have gained about 10 lbs but i think thats because i stopped going to the gym. I get blood work done frequently and havent noticed any negative side effects but my eye sight in the left eye (always my weak eye) is a little off dont know if its related or not. havent noticed any signs of depression but i told family and friends and my shrink to keep an eye out for it

going to stay on the meds for at least 4 or 6 months more before going further, but thats my long term plan.

well next week i start androcor and then shortly after i will start estrofem and eventually motilin, wish me luck

Why motilin?

i heard it can speed breast development and help with lactation

i'm sorry, it will be motilium that i will be taking with the estrofem and androcur

I hope the best with how you want to feel , Depo Provera as well can be very effective I understand the normal dosage is around 100 mg a week.

Take a look at DonFL's "sticky" called "Due to requests, chemical castration protocal with optional levels of feminizing " in the "Chemical Castration and Hormones" section. Very usefull information about dose. The 100 mg/week is usually talking about the oral form of Provera, not as effective as Depo-Provera. But check out that sticky -- great information.
