something simple, but for things like location and such, pull downs are best so people can't create a multitude of answers that then can't be searched (like CA, cali, SoCa, California instead of just California).

Though a state such as California needs to be split into Northern and Southern. Searching for someone in California only to find you live in San Francisco and they live in San Diego is a bit like being on the east coast and discovering you live in Raleigh and the other person lives in New York City.

all large states should be spit into regions, or a "distance" limit like on alt.com. Florida North and South are remarkably different and a hell of a drive.

I've got to say I find these postings really fascinating. Even though I'm on chemical castration I'd like to find a date. Preferably someone sane. I suppose that won't be an option for selection! :-)

Losethem's imaginative listing of all kinds of relationship pairings (or more) is not only funny but realistic!

Even in a relatively small state like Minnesota, I might find a regular 160 mile commute from my home in the Twin Cities up to Duluth a bit much. So, if possible, some kind of distance indicator or splitting of states into regions would be great!

OTOH, for the right guy, eunuch, intact male/modified male combo (can I get extra fries with that order, please?), I might find the trip worthwhile! :-)

I think I like the idea of a personals section, it's just that... well it's so personal. I connect best in person. I also do OK in PMs after I get to know the person a bit.

I'm just going to wait and see how this goes.

Odd you should ask, actually. I was just looking for this thread.

I had to dump the software I was using when I originally posted, but have since installed what I feel is a better choice. It's much more customizable, much easier to customize, and with luck we'll be hitting the beta stage of testing before month's end.

Currently, I'm aiming for a full opening date of mid-February (*wink*), although with a little luck it will happen much sooner.

As it's still before month's end, at this time I would like to make an open call for a limited number of volunteers willing to help beta test the new personals.

All you'd have to do is go in, sign up, create a profile and test things out. Then let me know what what you think. Any volunteers?
