why did it stop updating?

I'm not sure if I'm maxed out, or if it's a glitch. Considering the circumstances I'm not particularly concerned.

Doesn't seem like anything is happening plus or minus at BME. We may be waiting a long long time for a resolution to this problem. So you may get free membership for years.

As I said I always have been a great supporter of BME and think it a v well run site - just surprised that with that background Shannon - or someone - hasnt posted a note on the site to say what has happened - but lets keep our fingers crossed - Larry

It's all in the hands of the lawyers at the moment, and apparently there is a legal prohibition against either revealing the truth of what's going on, or touching the site.

There is a possibility that there will be an update in the reasonably near future though.
