well there is already OTC one drug when taken in high doses will suppress libido and T, tagament, in about 1000mg it will antagonize T pretty well... also causes breasts to swell as its a progestrone analouge..
What are the health risk when taken in the rquired 1,000mg dose? Also how often would you have to take it?

Do you mean cimetidine? Oh wow. I had no idea that it had any effects like that.

That's an inexpensive OTC med. I used to take that fairly often a few years back. hmm. heh.
"Cimetidine interferes with estrogen metabolism, enhancing estrogen activity. In women, this can lead to galactorrhea, whereas in men gynecomastia and a reduced sperm count can result."

Ive been talking to a couple of prostate cancer victims that are taking 1600mg daily via 4 400mg doses a day, no problem. The FDA trials tested its safety way beyond that. I expect they never get heartburn.. lol..

The cimetidine is interesting.
It's also interesting how little response the original post has gotten. Thinking about that, it makes me wonder if a large part of the fascination with ball torture, castration, testosterone blocking etc. isn't due to the "danger" - that is, of coming close to or crossing the line of permanent damage. In the hypothetical, there was no danger of permanent loss, but in the things that are objects of fascination the danger is always present. "Danger" and "regret" seem like the dominant emotions in the usual case.

Your observation is definitely spot on. It has been a while since I looked closely at the data of Johnson and Wassersug's survey papers from the EA. I believe the fantasy and danger elements plays a significant role here - if I am reasonably close I would bet 90% of folks here would never intentionally go beyond play.

I'd say that less than 1% of men would even consider voluntarily taking anything that suppresses libido.

Perhaps "voluntary" might be omitted from the equation?

Started taking Tagamet 400 mg a day for six days now. No morning wood. No hot flashes. No real intrest in jerking off. I might keep this up if I don't develope breasts.

That sounds really awesome. That's pretty much exactly what I want. Also I just ordered some herbal pills that are supposed to have lots of saw palmetto in them and keep my hair from falling out anymore. I'm kinda hoping it'll lower my sex drive as well, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
