Weird: "Conviction for mutilating a corpse carries a maximum 10-year prison sentence."
One could commit manslaughter and be out of prison in less than 10 years.

Happousai-
I wonder if eating body parts falls under that. One could sustain themselves on human flesh. In the event of an arrest they would likely avoid prison and go straight to the hospital. Nicer sheets, better food, AC and all that.
What did one cannibal serving time say to the other?
