Interesting how E effects guys in different ways. Some here have said that it actually helps them maintain a little libido, while others say that it decreases it even more.

i have been on a oral dosage of estrogen for two months now. the dose is only .75 mg daily, yet i still have had some changes. my breast tissue which before was nothing is not soft and smooshy, and the nipples and very sensitive as well as enlarge. i go threw some moody spells but over all i think that my frame of mind has leveled out. the side effects are no different really then not being on anything. i still have hot flashes, and get super cold allot, also i go threw days where i cant sleep well...

i was really worried this last time that i got my prescription filled because they gave me a pill under a different name at the pharmacy and its size and colore were way different.

Premarin is a bad choice for HRT, since it's made from horse urine and contains estrogens foreign to the human body. Estradiol (sold under the brand names of Estrace and Estrofem) is a much better choice, and it less likely to cause blood clotting problems or similar than Premarin.

I'm taking 2 mg daily, plus Androcur. My breasts have gotten pretty big, while my penis and balls have really seemed to shrink.

I've studied Female HRT (for my wife) and I agree. There is no large studies showing that bio identical hormones are better or safer but common sense tells me that using synthetics based on Horse Pee can not be such great stuff.

If your not interested in transition and your not GID why not use Testosterone?

I am taking the same stuff as DavidWallace (two posting above) and have gotten the same results, although I am a lot older.

I have been on estrogen for about 3 months(first month estrofem 25, second and third climara 100) and have experienced significant breat development(especially in my niples). I don't have morning/spontaneous erections, but can pretty easily get stimulated erections.

It's really interesting how it effects people differently. I started estrogen first, before I added androcur, and by itself it completely eliminated my ability to have erections or cum, and grew my breasts pretty well.

After adding the androcur, my breast development took off, and my penis and balls really started to shrink, but all these effect were already present with the estrogen alone.

Zya:

Talk to your GP about how you feel. The dose "ought" to be adjusted based on your feedback (Along with your hormone labs) If you having hot flashes its (my non doctor opinion) WAY too low. Sleep problems are another sign. Get back to see your GP this week! ok?

Good luck...

i have spoken with my doctor about all my symptoms and he thinks that i have been gittin rid of an infection. my blood work has come back normal they tell me. although last time i picket up my prescription they filled it with a pill of different shape and size, when i questioned the pharmacist he informed me that it was just another makers pill. a few days latter i started feeling ill and had a few strange reactions like pain in my joints, nausea, light headed , and trouble understanding/ communicating things. At work i had a very hard time looking at the computer screen and a couple of times a day my eyes would start burning as if i had pepper spray in them. my doctor told me that they had given me a different compound and called in the previous prescription i had been given.....

i feel better now that i am back on the same drug. At work i have been getting my schedule switched from morning to night and its really been fucking with my body. i have to drink a pot of coffee before i can even think about leaving the house and as soon as i get to work i drink more.....

i have been noticing some changes in my body and so have others. my breasts are getting fatty and my hips and butt are filling out. i think that the shape of my face has changed a bit as well.
