If you want hot, go to Thermal. I was there one day a few years ago and it was 132. 1 degree hotter than Death Valley. Now that's hot.

132 - Hell I get a bit cold when it hits that around here in the winter (below zero, of course). Course, if it got much colder, hell would freeze over and the Vikings would win the SuperBowl. On the top side, we turn on a fan or two when it is on the hot side, usually above 120 or so.

Course, I never lie, 'cept on Mondays...

It was pretty hot today, but I don't know how hot, just that it was too hot to do much of anything at all.

It is cool here today--only in the high eighties. I recall pleasant 100 degree F afternoons in Salt Lake City. As long as one drinks water all the time, the breezes make even a round of golf (nine holes on the UU campus) pleasant. The evenings are delightfully cool.

Been there many years ago. Three towns around the Salton Sea...Thermal, Oasis and Mecca...more whistlestops than towns as I recall and too damn hot in the summer.

According to ABC news ...tomorrow will be 105 F. At least that cooler than Thermal.

It hit 108 at 2pm at my place today. That's hot enough. The pool felt good though.

It's only 95 F. today but it definitely feels hotter..

I should be grateful I don;t live in Greece...117 F. This is their hottest summer on record plus they have hundreds of brushfires.

Yeah, 95 F. is ok. Would be better if I had AC instead of a swamp cooler.

Maybe I'll take Sag's advice and go fry an egg on the sidewalk.
