I just got back from a little "Farewell" party Lilac's friends and family had for her. It was a very nice time hosted by one of her friends.

I think you all know the many concerns we have for her, but we must let her decide what is right and what she feels she needs to do. As much as I hate to see her leaving, I want to see her happy also. I will miss her, but I do feel a little better knowing that this is not a permanent move, call it more of an extended vacation. She has round trip air fare and will be returning sometime in January.

Lilac, I do hope that this move is everything you hope for and more. I know you will be dropping into the chat so we will see you.

Hello everyone!

Just letting you all know that i made it safely to Portugal.

My first night here will be spent at my true love's place, so i believe it's going to be wonderful;)

Now, i wanted to thank all of your kind words you all left in this post for me, and yes, if things won't go ok here, i' ll get back to the US. But notice, i won't be returning alone

Hello again everyone, Firstly, thanks richardUK. It is very lovely in Portugal. I am writing to let you all know I am going to be returning to the US for now. Hopefully to return again and fulfill my plans. At this time, all I can say is it wasn't quite the right time to be here. A few things got in the way for now, but hopefully to be resolved one day. Only time will tell. I won't say that i'm not heart broken because I am. But I know it's the right thing at this time. So on that note, I might be able to make that MOM's in Aug. you never know.
