One of the shrinks dr bowers gave me a number for got back to me today.
I was given 3 numbers only one called back. The shrink cant understand why dr bowers needs a letter from a phd when I want them removed because of orchialgia.I think the whole medical business is a mess. The letter doesnt seem a big deal. She said we would need to talk for 2 hours and I get my letter if I need it at all.She took dr bowers phone number and said she would talk to bowers personally and get back to me in a week.
I contacted the doctor I was told about in eugene oregon and I have to talk to him personally then he will decide.
Still waiting for doctor in new mexico to get back to me.He would not be back till thursday.
I was very embaressed to be asked to go to a mental health person to be "tested." I was very pleased with my experience. The man who did the tests gave me a nice run down on my mental health (Excellent) and gave me his opinion on my decision to deal with my Orchialgia with surgery. He said it made perfect sense to him and he sent me back to the surgeon. I asked a lot of questions about this and my surgeon admitted that he was asking more and more patients to have screenings before surgery. He had spent too much time being sued by people who changed their minds after one way street surgery. *And I admit this made sense to me.

I found my urologist
I will see if I made the right decision in the next few weeks.I finally found a urologist that would cure my orchialga permanantly ...I hope....I had a bilateral orchiectomy today in the doctors surgery suite after waiting behind 2 vasectomies.
It was uncomfortable a few seconds.
Otherwise painless.
I had to sit on a greased metal plate that was messy. The doctor let me watch and explained what was wrong with my testicles as she dissected them. The nurse held them up with a hemostat so I could see what she was trying to show me.
Doctors are so scared they will get sued. The doctor wanted me certain I agree the testicles had to come off.
It was just like the video I saw at orr.

In two weeks I will finally be getting an orquiectomy. I live in southern Colorado but am ending up going ahead and flying off to the east coast. Nobody here was willing to do it without extensive and overwhelming requirements which I was simply unable to fulfill. Most of it having to do with my inability to ever be able to trust psychiatry. (They took my mother away and doped her up to make her better but made her worse when I was little.)

How are you doing? Any further reports post OP? Your not going to be one of those that feels so much better without his Orchialgia that he disapears into the sunset are you?

I am trying to catch up with my life now that I am pain free .
I healed up well and scrotum has shriveled a lot.
Had sex the other day.
Erection was fine.
Took a while to attain it and a long time to finish
I really enjoyed it .

Its great we have another success story. Now that your Orchialgia is cured is there any reason your not on HRT? I highly recomend it for a variety of reasons.
