Re: Fantasy Castration
As a Top/Dom/Master and sadistic bastard, I'd be so sad if such a restoration therapy existed.

No thanks I do not miss mine. In my travels and visiting ancient churches known for their healing miracles I often wished I had a shield to avoid miracles. There would be nothing worse for me than leaving a church with the feeling they have returned.

Or would the availability of the restoration therapy make the fantasy less meaningful and stimulating? ...
Let me reply to a couple of lesser or conditional variations to the hypothetical you pose, once I admit to having since 1969 at age 26 a sudden onset of fantasy about castration for itself as a body mod to others, which I gradually expanded in my 40s to include myself being surgically castrated someday.
The first conditional is whether I would have normal testosterone levels restored by therapy, thereby remaining robustly sexual though no longer fertile, or would not have TRT and would have negligible sexuality as a eunuch. If I were to go on TRT I would fancy being castrated, knowing I could act on my fantasy and keep enjoying it afterward. The cost and travel to have it done deterred me however. If no TRT, then no dice, not as a fantasy which would be self-extinguishing. (Of course, this latter situation presented itself to me as a medical necessity 15 months ago and I fulfilled my fantasy by opting for surgical castration rather than drug-induced inactivation of my testicles, at no cost and only two miles travel from home, in a full-blown OR. And the no-T result indeed deflated my fantasy within a few days.)
The second alternative is genitals-related alterations short of castration that have always been readily reversible, which also were akin to my castration fantasy, namely having something different and unusual in my genital presentation; my EA Profile mentions these. First was shaving my pubic hair, first done at age 35 before inguinal hernia surgery and regularly done from age 57-on. Second was laboriously stretching out a replica foreskin, over many years beginning in my late 40s, knowing if I didn't like the result I could have an elective circumcision to change it, unlike my original one. But I really did like the result I got. Third, on a whim after my GF in yr. 2001 at my age 58 called my men's conventional briefs "panties," I began ordering and routinely wearing women's panties in various plain styles and sold colors, initially being turned on but now thinking nothing of it and enjoying their comfort.
Extrapolating from the above, yes, if cut-off genitals, even including my penis, would reliably regenerate either as before or as custom-specified, my T-sustained genital presentation mods fantasies would tempt me to do it, subject to its cost and inconvenience weighed against its fantasy gratification value -- which I suppose would be somewhat diminished by its reversibility.

I would do it, just to see if I liked it. If I didn't, no problem, just grow em back.

Re: Fantasy Castration
I wanted to be a no T eunuch and before castration I did not know all that would entail. You can never truly know. It was an amazing adventure as my T levels dropped and I became the new me. Of course I continued to change over several years. Certainly not as much as the roller coaster ride of that first year. It certainly was a journey.
As I was getting to know the new me and finding my place in the world I learned other aspects of myself. I went through a time where I wanted a baby. During those four years of wanting a baby women I did not know came up to me and hand me their babies. Babies that only let mom hold them reached out to me and angered the male members of the family. I went to deliver wedding photo's and the families attack dog came up to me and let me play with it which surprised the family. Aggressive men would quickly calm down because they sensed they did not need to act that way with me. People would sense that I was a gentle soul and relax so we could solve any conflict.
I would have missed so many interesting times if my testicles returned. Now after almost 20 years I am afraid of their return. A doctor surprising me with a T injection or anything that would return me to my former self. I am a happy and content eunuch.

Re: Fantasy Castration
This was one of my favorite fantasies when I was in middle school.
I'd imagine if through some medical procedure nullification was reversible that there might be boarding schools for boys where all the students were castrated simply as a matter of course.
Nullification would be routine to keep the boys well behaved and better able to concentrate on their studies.
If such academic institutions existed I'd secretly want to be sent to one for a single semester.
That way I'd be able to experience being a full eunuch along with other boys who were all in the same boat, but at the end of five months I'd return to being a complete boy.
If my parents had sent me to such a school I'd have kicked up a fuss and protested but at the same time I'd have been thrilled.
Of course the big fear would have been that my restoration to boyhood might have been delayed for some reason.
Such are the thoughts of an apparently normal 12 year old. :nutsycuck

Personally, I think that if the therapy existed, I'd go out and get castrated immediately, just for kicks. You know, try out the eunuch lifestyle for a while, see how it is. It would be fun. Of course, my own fantasy about castrating willing submissives just wouldn't be quite the same...
What do y'all think?

Re: Fantasy Castration
If it was reversable, lots of men would make it into initiations, bets, challenges, and almost any excuse to get castrated many times over and for the fear and bragging rights. Many times the thrill of tattoes, piercings, thrill rides, and other things men love to experience and conquor in life.
Personally, it be a wild change and event to experience with no permanent damage that I could get off on big time. I think lots of men would.
I could see it become a wedding or aniversary gift women would demand of men as a commitment ritual too. Same with frats, sports teams, and similar all male groups giving up their manhoods to gain membership or prove allegiance by it.
Lots of parents, teachers, employers, and girlfriends would love doing it for teen attitude adjustment and male borth control in young men. Wives would do it to husbands all thru life. Men would be hounded to surrender their balls and fertility, and manhood from all kinds of people and goals. Intact men would become rare and only allowed to have any balls when actively breeding their offspring, then chop !
All kinds of possibilities if it could be reversed

Interesting comment. In your travels, have you ever found ones that were really a special experience or were they more of a check-that-box-and-now-on-to-the-next-one kind of thing?

I have usually felt a few different emotions in a few of the churches. I should mention I was raised catholic and tried very hard to believe. A number of churches I felt such a sense of history and wonder at how many years voices were raised in prayer. Many of the churches of course were still celebrating the life of Jesus to modern day. Some I felt a sense of peace. In a very few I felt an energy that might be attributed to healings.
