I'm very pleased that you've seen a doctor. Let us trust the news continues to sound hopeful. --FLO--

Thanks Uncle Flo,

Been to the Docs again today, no news on my blood test, but my urine shows no signs of blodd or protein, indicative of my old Kidney problem so all is well there.

However, over night there is growth and the doc is not prescribing anything for infection.

I am down for a sca, but there is a long wait for this. I am going to try and find out how much it would cost to get it done private. I know my body pretty well and if it ain't an infection it is something serious.

Will keep you all posted.

Doing my daily feel up in the shower, I notice the'growth' is bigger today, the problem is the epididymis is a slippery thing.

Any way I felt a new, smaller thatn a pea growth underneath it, because the mebrane is so slippery and thick it is hard to feel the surface of the testicle beneath that area.

Three times and yes it is most definitely in the surface of the testicle and not the epididymis.

That slippery epididymis has been hiding it even from my Doctor.

Will keep on monitoring.

Fortuen smiled upon me and there was a cancelataion for the ultra sound test so I got an appointment yesterday.

In the UK they use ultrasound as the cheapest form of scanning.

Anyway the scan showed no sign of anything cancerous, there is a cyst o

which the Doc says is benign.

It does not explain why it is so painful and he reccomenede I see a specialist.

For the last week I have been taking 100mg of androcur morning and the pain has dininished a lot, taking estrogen too there are no bad symtoms, in a week my morning erections have gone and I like the control I have right now.

I won't close this thread just yet, I am going to keep monitoring this situation because it does not explain to other symptoms of weight loss and exhaustion.......

I wish you good luck in hunting down testicle pain and eliminating it. The medical community does not have particularly good success in that respect. --FLO--

It appears that my reference to a medical doctors advise that sounds to me like IMPORTANT does evaporate on this topic. Write me an Email and I will repeat it again in private. N3RF@earthlink.net N3RF

Interestingly I have been taking Androcaur 100 mg divided morn & eve for a week and increased the dosage to 150 mg daily, 3 times a day.

The pain has gone completely and the 'Cysts' seems to be getting smaller.

My testicles have shrunk too since I started taking the 150 mg.

I don't get erections at all now and over all I am feeling pretty good, I am also taking other hormones for MtoF transition and feel better than I have for a very long time.

I will keep examining the 'cyst' to see if there are any changes.

My plan is to stay on 150 mg for another 4 days and drop it down to 100 mg then 50 mg and then replace with Spiro & Finacar.

The point is the pain is gone!!

J.,

I am very happy to see that this is not cancerous.

I've had 2 scares like this in the past - both of which turned out negative.

Please keep us informed here on how it turns out, especially with the pain issue.

Congratulations of being cancer free!

Better safe than sorry, most of us want to lose our testicles in one form or another, but keep our lives! I am monitoring

Just got a letter from the Hospital asking me to go see the Urologist, I can only guess that this is either a result of my blood test or the scan being looked at further...... So wish me well! Will keep you posted
