gOSH - a1. i am not a Scientist and reading Your excellent disertation this morning , U will read it later , and on the topic, the number iof EarthQuakes have increased dramatically and eveb if "MsFall" doesn't proclaim any of the 500 newsclips from around the world, it is great that someone does. 6000 Years, well in reincarnation I will come back in another 6000 years and check on it ..What about Your ?? The name of this object - black dwarf - whatever - is really not X but a dozen or so other possible names and since it is "Black Dward" or something - You cannot see it either. By the way Science Community has started to look harder for Big Rocks and wondering how to direct or divert it if it comes close, so whatever scolding evryone gets for talking about it, things are followed up on - slowly but surely. I have a graph where I can follow minute by minute the Quakes from dozens of monitors that have beeninstalled at Yellowstone, so all we hear is that BlackBalling but the work is initiated and in progress. WOW. Thanks A1 for Yoyur many Wonderbar things to read.N3RF

Paolo, I'm wondering what all this has to do with the Archive.
My 2 cents.

Terry,
My friend,
It has to do with US...
WE ARE "the Archive", all of us, you included.
If you do not want to read this kind of intellectual stuff, then there are other places in the archive that are perfect for you. Some us are past the shock of Eunuchism and look at each other as people irrespective of sex, Eunuchism or anything else that has to do with gender or lack of it.
Please allow some of us this freedom and in time you, yourself, may come to enjoy the escape and friendship that it provides for the rest of us who are enjoying it.
Respectfully yours,

Certainly, n3rf, you could not "see" a black hole, but you could see the consequences of it as it "sucked in" all of the matter close to it. We WOULD know that it was there...

n3rf, once again you have found some rag to agree with what you think might be happening. I read your article, then I went further and the next one was this woman born in 1954 claming to be the true heir of Hitler, Hitler died in 1945.
It goes on with more dribble and nonsense, n3rf if you are reading this stuff for entertainment thatβs one thing; if you think its fact then do something else. See if you can come up with two more sources of this story. My guess is that you will never find one. These stories are just that stories, not a fact any ware.

If a black dwarf was close enough to be affecting the Earth now, to be causing climatic changes, it would be affecting the solar system enough for scientists to know it's there. Besides, black dwarfs aren't invisible. They can be seen with telescopes just as asteroids can be seen, just as any planet could be seen. A black dwarf is a sun that has burned out and is no longer emitting light. Light can still reflect off of it, and it could be seen. If a black dwarf passes through our solar system, you might as well bend over and kiss your ass goodbye. Earth might end up out in orbit with Pluto or somewhere else.
A black dwarf is the last thing in the world you need to worry about. If it's coming, there's absolutely nothing we can do about it; humanity is doomed. If it's not, why not focus on the things we can affect?
"The sky is falling. The sky is falling," Chicken Little said. Talking about black dwarfs is not much different from masturbating. It might be fun, but it'll never produce a baby. And, like masturbating, it should be done in private. People think you're a little weird, if you do it in public.

Thank you Slammr, right on.
Now my next question is this, several months ago you started another thread about global warming caused by the extra hour caused by day light saving time. Did you get this newest information from the same rag?

Come on, give it a rest. The reason for the strange weather this winter is found in South East Asia, its the butterfly effect.
As for global warming, this may be true or may just as well not be true. To find out for sure we need to check the weather report in about 10,000 years, which when compared with the one this week may show a trend.

I cant wait for daylight saving time, we loose and hour but get more sun light, thats because we have a 23 hour day.

Gee - guys - I didn't say I agree with it or not, but when the Sun does a Hick-up or burps we do have cold weather coming our way from the north five days later. I admire Your sharp outlook and knowing too much is not always good either ..Hi. Whatever the planetary interactions are to cause the Sun to Burp is becoming into view for those that study the Mechanics of Interplanetary BODIES and this is all there is what affects the Sun and we have to enjoy the nice weather it gives us, that is all we can do. The scientists among us keeps BLAIMING it on us Human endeavors and this will certainly negate their prestigue eventually. Ignorance is such Bliss. I do think that Dr James MacCaneyscience.com at Cornell showed the Sun Burp when a Meteor went by. It in on his web site on Video. DON'T be afraid to look at the CONTROVERSIAL things because it isn't POPULAR with the CROWD. Yours N3RF

I found a BLACK DWARF on a PORN website last night, however, I thought that it might be too much of a shock to put the link here for the good people on the E.A. He was massive though, for a dwarf, that is...
