Jumping off a building and flying are both harmless occupations. Neither will hurt. It's the landing that causes the problems.

Oh, it has been tried before, more than once, in several different formats, from hammers to bench vises. That is, among other ways, that we do know what we speak of. Of course, nothing is stopping you, except perhaps a ration of common sense and sanity....
