Bigtwin, I'm so happy to see you posting again. I've been worried about you. After your negative problems with Kimmel, I never heard if you got your chord problem fixed. I sent you a couple PM's, but I guess you didn't get them. It was your advice that made me seek out Dr.Alter. After I told my wife of your problems, she wouldn't let me go to Philly. I can't thank you enough for your advice. Steve

Thanks for all the good advice. Since I live in a rural area my choice of doctors is a bit limited. (Perhaps I should try calling veterinarians instead.):D
You may be right about not having fully made up my mind. I must admit to having second thoughts. One concern is that I will lose energy and at 64 I need every bit of it to finish all the home remodelling projects that I am engaged in. And then I am not sure I want to lose all interest in sex either....
Right now, I've got too much going on to schedule the necessary down time. I need cataract surgery also, so that means even more down time to worry about.
Let's see - my balls and my eyeballs both need surgery -- what's next? The balls of my feet?:D

So, if both are done, will you then be an eye-nuch, as well as an eunuch? Sorry, it's stupid, but I couldn't help it....

If you are interested in doing this and not using HRT I would have a very long rethink. Energy, mood and sex drive are very closely coupled with normal hormone levels. *In my experience - I think it would be very unfortunate if you chose a path that would eliminate sex drive and probably cause a loss or energy (motivation) and probably mood problems. I don't know what your motivation is perhapes your having pain issues or?

The only pain is in my mind. I have abnormal sexual desires, and keeping them under control sometimes is difficult. I should have been castrated 30+ years ago, but that was not possible then. (sigh)
