I must say, a yawl seems to know your stuff. My only hope is that i will have a safe and well healed recovery, at tat was the bottom line when it came to this post.

I am going to see a Dr. and yes this will be an outpatient operation. My only worry is that a plain flight back might damper my health when its needed most. I am a healthy person, it’s just that a plain could make anyone sick, and i don’t want that.

i have made my deposit and what not, but am still facing a few questions about the recovery and what not. i have thought of every reason in the book not to go ahead with the surgery and none of them have changed my decision. Without this i fear i could return to my self-destructive mutilation.

As im sure most of you are, happy that there is a small group in the medical field willing to help us in de-stress. This is what pro choice is all about.

You will do fine if you follow the doctor's post castration requirements or suggestions. I was able to move around the first day afterward, carefully and gingerly, but I had no pain. Also the jubilation of having your testicles gone seems to kick in some endorphines that also alleviate pain. Keep us informed. Hash

Maybe you should think of freezing some of your sperm for future use. Before castration. You never know when you might want to have your own child.

Reproducing is not for me, this earth is way over populated, and freezing sperm would be a waist. If I wanted kids I would have them the real way. But never ever do I want to produce off spring.

I am 20.

Let’s just say speech, like body, has always been an issue for me.

Most of us are very open and honest on the EU Archive. We're upfront about specific details because we believe our honesty and disclosure of specific details will help others. So I must pose some tough questions to you:

1) Who's doing the surgery, no b.s. that you can't tell us, you can if it's not a back street cutter. Who's your psychologist? Only Kimmel will castrate without one. We all know that that's true, there are no exceptions unless you're going to the ORR in Belgium.

2) Are you a Transgendered person or don't you know for sure?

3) When is your surgery date?

Simple questions, please answer them honestly. Hash

P.S. If you're going to see a reputable surgeon, you'll get all the aftercare advice you'll ever need. But be warned, the depression that follows complete androgen ablation can be deadly. We are here to help and advise.

Given the dramatic changes to mind and body, I am glad I am doing chemical (DP). My wife and I are not even thinking about surgical until after the first of the year - one year on DP. My guess is we will keep on DP as you can "fine tune" the dose.

Maybe I can get a prescription for DP somewhere. I am not in favor of drugs however.
