Many guys continue to have something approaching a normal sex urge following castration. Remember, our brains are our major sex organs. And those of us receiving testosterone also can lead normal sex lives as well.

Our overall interest in or ability to have sex may decrease - and usually does - over time following castration.

The erection situation is something that has worried me since my castration. Changes due to hormonal changes happen (in my experience) gradualy. I like the analogy of the Frog. You warm the water up slowly and eventualy the frog is boiled thinking everything is "normal"

When I went on HRT I knew I was not "right" before but it didn't seem THAT odd that we were sexual once a month (maybe) there were all these really good reasons not to. Now that I'm on HRT I can see how strange that was. I think you will gradualy start to have more reasons not to do "it" until it is rare to never. Your wife will probably see this change but you won't. To be honest I like me with a healthy level of testosterone much better. Life is better and I don't mean just sexualy. My anxiety issues are gone. I have energy to do things (and more important finish them) My mood is better. I'm not so crabby all the time. My wife thought I was having PMS when I was lacking the magic T. Now I'm a regular Mr Wonderful.

So I came into this in the middle. Why were you castrated? Not because you wife wanted you sterile?

In the many years that I've been an involuntary Eunuch I have found that not all of us are the same. Castration appears to affect us in different ways or so it seems. I noticed Incubus's reply and his and my characteristics seem similar. I am not on HRT except for an over the counter Hot Flash med, I still have what I call "semi-erections", and can only expell a small amount of watery pre-cum. I am also a married Eunuch, but I have grown to enjoy my Eunuch Calm and we both have learned to cope with our situations.

I have a limited amount of watery ejaculate just like a castrated person because of my vasectomy back in 1975.

In reply to Incubus: I'd say that enough time has now passed that you don't have any viable sperm in your plumbing. Every orgasm will diminish what might still be left. If she's not pregnant now, I doubt that she will be in the future - at least not from YOUR sperm.

I have been discussing castration with my wife. She is currently undecided, as she dislikes surgery of any type. One thing that I have noticed is that even at my advanced age of 64 I am easily aroused and have long lasting erections. So I suspect that after castration, I will likely still be able to penetrate my wife. This was one of her concerns.

My "ex" Lady & I had been going together for 7 years. Sexual activity between her & I was varied & frequent. Last summer we made plans to get married right after Christmas of 2005. She decided that we should cease sex and wait until our wedding night to start again. She knew I worked around atrractive & well-dressed women, and she did not want my having erections or any sexual activity, so I agreed to be placed in a chastity device (CB-3000). We discussed how build-up of semen was not healthy, so it was agreed that the device would be removed on a weekly basis at which point I would be allowed intercourse. During the period of summer to the end of the year, our relationship began to falter, and the weekly intercourse gradually became a quick removal of the chastity device followed by a very quick masturbation with her lubricated hand. I would be so "pent up" from the week that upon removal of the chastity device I could be quickly taken before I could try and enter her for intercourse. Then she bagan to utilize an Aneros Stimulator in order to make me cum without even removing the chastity device.
