Nena - In defense of the person that wrote that they were obviously joking. I caught the reference to the movie Silence of the Lambs as I was reading it. A native speaker of English and a person familiar with American pop culture probably would have understood this quite quickly so I see your confusion.

Yep we eat animal testicles here too. In America, particularly here in the west they're called Rocky Mountain Oysters or calf fries. They're pretty good. So it would stand to reason human testicles could be cooked up and eaten.

Thanks for the information - and I saw that it is even easy to find recipes!

Here only two of the many. The second one seems to me well suitably for somebody who wants to prepare his own testicles. It seems to be delicious and my mouth is watering. For the first one, probably a larger society of like-minded is needed.

Calf Fries in Wine Sauce

About 40 bull testicles per serving

1 or 2 cloves of garlic

Onion to taste

2 Tablespoons corn starch

1 cup white wine

Salt and pepper to taste

Tabasco to taste

1 cup water

Wash and clean oysters thoroughly. Boil until tender, about 30 to 45 minutes. Drain throughly. Saute oysters, onion and garlic until brown. Dissolve corn starch and water in cup, then add to oysters. Add wine and let simmer until sauce thickens. Add seasonings and serve steaming hot.

Spicy Calf Fries

Bull testicles (quantity to your liking)

2 Tablespoons oil

1 onion chopped

4 garlic cloves chopped

4 ounces pimentos

4 ounces green chili chopped

1/2 cup parsley

White wine to cover oysters

Salt and pepper to taste

Boil oysters in salt water until about 40 minutes. Drain in colander and rinse in lukewarm water. Set aside to drain. Fry oysters in skillet with a little oil until lightly browned. Add 1 chopped onion and 4 or 5 chopped garlic; saute until transparent. Add chopped pimentos, chili peppers, parsley, and season with salt and pepper. Add white wine and cook a few minutes. Serve immediatly.

Seems tasty! After reading this, I want to eat my testicles!
