Re: Penis removal vs. testicle removal
It is amazing what you can get used to. I kept reaching for my penis for ages out of habit after i had mine removed but now i dont even think about it. Lack of T does definitely change your thought process a bit but other than personal preference its not that big a differnce having balls or not or having a penis or not. Whatever you have you get used to

I'm sure you're right. I'm virtually certain I wouldn't miss my balls and sac. It would make keeping hair-free much easier. If I like going without T and completely lose interest in sex I probably wouldn't feel the need for a penis either. After thinking I'd want to keep it I think more and more about how nice it would be to be completely smooth with no male parts.

Biggest problem/concern I've encountered is having to sit to pee.
Think - you have to pull down your pants and so are exposed for a moment.
Had penectomy 2002.
Still have balls.
I play in a band and so have to be in various bars, casinos, venues, etc.
Sometimes a dive bar doesn't even have a door on the stall.
One place had it so when the door to the mens restroom opened, anyone could see in.
Drunk dudes come in and look around for the nearest urinal/toilet.
I wonder about my band-mates who always see me in the toilet stall - never the urinal.
Will they put 2 and 2 together?
Also, riding a bike.
A penectomy comes with a urethra re-rout via your perineum.
So now when I sit on the bike seat, I sit on my pee hole and it can be uncomfortable.
Which affects the amount of exercise I get.
Sorry for rambling on but there are a LOT of things you don't know until you encounter them.
For the most part, I am VERY happy with my penis gone and working on bilateral orchiectomy.
Having balls/testosterone but no penis, I have found unusual ways to climax. Have to.
Best wishes.

Re: Penis removal vs. testicle removal
I think it would be hell to have testicles, and the sex drive, and not to have a penis to satisfy it.
I have found that without testicles, and no supplemental T, my penis has shrunk to the size of a prepubescent male. I have very little feeling left, none that I would call sexual, and I do not even touch it except to urinate. I have no errections. I do not ejactulate.
I do not have a sex drive whatsoever. I am as close to asexual as you can be. My T is less than 10.
I have found that I still like to be in the company of females. I like to sleep with women, to be held, and cuddled.
It does not bother me to see others have sex, but just the thought of participating in sex repulses me.

I, still want to. But already I'm afraid of the process of surgery and healing. Before my castration, I was not much afraid.
