In my limited understanding, the situation in Holland is one where the low lands were reclaimed from the sea. There is no large river flowing through them, although there are canals and low volume flows. Also, the storms that occur along that coast are far different from the storms along the gulf coast. I would think that these are significant differences. --FLO--
