Doctors will try to save them up to about 24 hours. The rate of sucess is greater for the shorter times. Some will have damage only after a few minutes others the same damage will take much longer. The damage is cumavitive. Look up Testicle Torsion.

Testicle torsion is a product of testicle being twisted in the sac which is not an uncommon defect. The research I have done indicates that anything after 8 hours drastically decreases the chance of saving the testicles and over 12 hrs, the success rate is right around zero. I am trying to cut off the circulation periodically for as long as I can and if and when I have systematically damaged the testicles to a point they can NOT be saved, I will seek medical attention to hopefully have them removed once and for all. If you use the EZE Castrator or the TRI Castrator, the chances of getting the band off is going to be slim to none without a lot of pain and possible superficial wonds. You may even will to have a Doctor remove it. So, if you use either one of those two instruments, you might as well be ready to cross the line.

i have kept a band on for just over 2hrs about 3 time and have fathered 3children since that....so yes it really all depends on the persons bloodflow

Yes, Meredith you're right. To guarantee castration you pretty much have to go more than 12 hours. A lot of us have gone three or four with our play with no success. And that takes a lot of willpower to make it that far!

I thank u talk about the tri bander brand bander, they hav a yellow band that is hevey duty!!!

I think it might depend on how young you are. When I was 14 I was in an accident where my testicles were stretched and the tissues were torn at about 1pm. This led to both testicles torsioning over the next couple hours. I went into the hospital and they iced them all night and operated the next day about 8am.

They saved both testicles but the blood vessels have progressively calcified over the years. I had to go on HRT a few years later and have been on it for almost 30 years. I am about to lose one testicle The other will last a few more years. I did have three children however. The surgeon said I would probably be sterile. So things are good. The HRT helped me stay in great shape too.

Anyway, the point is that if you are young you might make it for 18 hours if the blood is not completely cut off, but there will likely be damage that will accumulate over time. By the way, the pain was out of this world - screaming...freaking out bad...not good bad.

When I was like 15 I made it about 4 hours into it. I went to my martial arts class with the bands on, and it got to the point where I was in so much pain, i couldnt breathe. I went into the bathroom. My penis/scrotum had turned grey. I hacked off the bands with a pocket knife, and GASPED. The bands cut into my flesh, and my penis bled from the wound.

After a few hours, my whole set was bruised like someone kicked the shit out of my groin. After about a week, normal color returned, and it was "fine". That was the last time i tried to actively remove everything.
