Probably not. The reason why public executions were stopped was that there was a sufficient body of the public who felt that they were degrading - not just to the criminal, but also to the spectators. Also, it was widely accepted that the main reason for them - to act as a deterrent to other would-be malefactors - was not particularly effective.

Public executions (beheading with a golden sword) are still carried out in Saudi Arabia. I talked to someone who had lived there, and who said that the police can, if they want to, compel people on the street to go to the place where the execution is being held, and force them to watch it (more or less). Photographs aren't permitted.

Yes,

There are a small minority of countries which still have public executions, but the comment to which I replied stated 'every' country. There are some in all countries who would be pleased but in most countries these are a minority

Hey,

It is terrible that these modern Castrados die so young. Rick Astly 1963-1998...

And Bee Gee's Andy Gibb, better known as the "Gelded Gibb". The falsetto voice of Disco...

Ah, yes, the memories are grand, are they not?

Not to mention, Little Richard, Tiny Tim and the rest...

I mean, after all, we have no 'nad inspections, except, perhaps, for Michael Jackson. But then all that they looked at was his pecker.

But seriously, how do we know that it has not been going on for all of the years right under our noses?

I mean, after all, if they can cover up the John F. Kennedy assassination, then this is such a little thing... (No pun intended)

Take pause a moment to consider and to think about the "X" FILES, Men In Black, and so forth... The castrado are among us. Singing and unrecognized because of the embarassment that out M-TV society would cause them.

Take Freddy Mercury, for example. He had a marvelous falsetto voice. Of course, he was pretty hairy, so we might as well forget that, huh?

NO matter, they still could be out there...just like the Yeti... 👀

Oh come on!

Lets not get carried away with our fantasy- you do not have to be castrated just to sing with a falsetto voice, in fact far from it. In order to retain the high pitched voice castration has to take place before puberty. However most mature males can produce the falsetto voice and without castration, and in any case castration after puberty has not effect on the voice.
