Phil you are so right, my youngest son move in with to do just that, hold me when I needed to be held, and slap me around when I needed it. He is now back in California where we are from but that special bond we shared in the first year and a half will last a lifetime.

Don't be reluctant to ask your surgeon for a prescription for Xanax or other sedative to avoid situations of severe anxiety or panic attack following surgery.

Surgery often results in localized swelling where small capillaries ooze inside the wound, no matter how careful the surgeon is and no matter how the surgeon addresses use of cautery. Most surgeons advise ice pack for the first 48 hours with bed rest.

After surgery, you will not look like you will after the next few weeks. The body takes some time to heal and adjust its contours. Just about the time you are recovering from surgery and becoming fully healed, if you were castrated, you will begin experiencing hot flashes and the depression that usually results from falling male hormone levels. If you lowered the effect of male hormones prior to surgery, that may reduce effects.

Lean on friends. Have someone to be with you or have someone to call daily just to check on you, a regular wellness check to help keep your spirits up.

You've looked forward to your surgery and your changes, but your body takes time to heal and you cannot rush it. You must know what to expect after surgery and that it takes time to heal.

I know most of your intentions were to get rid of testosterone, but small doses could work wonders.

I am a high T man, I love my testosterone (not the orbs that failed to make enough though).

One thing to remember is you are now in control you can choose how much or how little testosterone you want/need.

I do 100mg IM injection weekly actually cheat to about 120, but I am not telling...

I was on it about a year before my snip and continued ever since. and I have no regrets to be rid of those guys. my new ones are so much nicer and do not hurt near as much.
