Like Christina I also took Androcur for a year, the changes I have noticed are, the hot flashes are milder but more frequent, body hair continuse to be less, remember each of us is different. Most of all know there will be some changes, what they are, who knows.
Foot note: Remember to have your doctor get you a bone scan, this is very important.

No actually I don't give that much thought now it was 4 years ago.

It depends on the person. For me, there was a big enough difference. The Androcur was more effective that the procedure in several ways, but the total testosterone level remained the same beforfe and after.
